Hi, fellow hunters and makers 👋 We are relaunching our product on ProductHunt after exactly 10 years! You read that correctly; Blogin was originally featured on PH in 2014! We have worked hard for the past decade and have made countless improvements to our platform. We diligently collected user feedback and used it as a roadmap and guidance for product development. The product is 10x better than it used to be, and we want you to try it out (there is a free 14-day trial). Here are some of the (major) improvements we introduced: - Post, Page, and Category visibility - allows you to publish content that is visible only to a certain group of users - Full REST API - allows you to connect Blogn to any external third-party service or any custom internal service - Integrations with Slack, Google Hangouts, and Microsoft Teams (beta) - out-of-the-box integrations with popular communication platforms - Posts and comments approval - allows you to require each post or comment to be approved by an Administrator before being published on the blog - Scheduled posts - allows you to schedule posts to be published at a certain time in the future - Single Sign-On (SSO) and User Provisioning (SCIM) - allows you to use external third-party identity providers (e.g. Google or Okta) to control who can access the blog - Subcategories - allows for the creation of subcategories to existing categories - Brand new blog theme (Silver) - a brand new, clean, and modern blog theme (and more themes to come!). - Auto fetch external links and videos in posts - automatically fetch external links pasted in the post body and embed the content Tags for posts - use tags, in addition to categories, to better describe and categorize your posts and make it easier for people to find content. - Markdown support - use Markdown mode in the editor to create posts - Revision history - you can see the modifications and can revert to a previous version of the post - Custom message invitations - allows you to include a custom message when inviting someone to the blog - Multiple authors for posts - allow several users to be authors of the same post - Company logo customization - customize the visual identity by incorporating your company logo at the top of every page - Wiki posts - posts that can be edited by all users with a Writer role - Usage stats - Main usage stats available to Administrators of the blog - Speed and Security improvements - we introduced many speed improvements and worked with white hat hackers and independent security researchers to strengthen the security of our platform - + many, many more Please let us know what you think or if you have any questions in the comments below. 🙏 🚀

It's just a fast, intuitive and easy platform. Pricing is realistic too, fixed regardless the amount of users, that's a rare thing to find. I've been promoting the use of blogin at several companies I worked at and every time the adoption was great. Even when the companies had confluence in place, which offers the concept of blog posts. This is just so much nicer. If there would be one thing on my wish list, it'd be to have an option to easily promote a post to a public platform, or offer that platform through blogin. I've always seen Blogin as a step up to public blog posts by the team. Making that barrier as small as possible would definitely make sense in our book. Great work Blogin team!

We use it as our company internal blog, and we are really happy with. Very easy to use!

In my last job, when our startup grew to 20 people across multiple teams, capturing internal knowledge became a serious issue. I was tasked with finding a solution. As you can imagine, the budget was tight, so enterprise solutions were out of the question. After extensive research, I discovered Blogin, and it was a game-changer. It not only met all our needs but also introduced features we hadn't even thought of, which quickly became essential for our team communication. If you're part of a startup or an SME, trust me, Blogin is a must-have tool.

Congrats on the relaunch, Milos! The new features look great. How does the "Wiki posts" feature work in practice, especially in terms of collaboration among multiple team members?
Miloš Dakić
@kirill_markin Hi Kirill. The "Wiki posts" feature allows exactly that, the collaboration among multiple team members on a post. When a post is marked as a "Wiki post," it can be edited by any user with the Writer role/access level, effectively allowing multiple users to edit and update the post. Hope this makes sense.

So excited to see Blogin back on ProductHunt after all these years! 🎉 As someone who’s been using it for a while, I’m super impressed with all the new features. The scheduled posts, Markdown support, and integrations with Slack and Teams are total game-changers for us. Plus, the new security and speed improvements are awesome. Huge props to the team for listening to our feedback and improving the platform. 🚀 Already loving the updates!

It is getting better and better :) We are using it in a bit strange way, for a co-working internal communication with co-working members, but it works awesome. It looks like a lot of love was integrated in to it, easy to set it up, and the are constantly improving :)

congratulations on the relaunch of blogin and a decade of dedication, miloš. with the new features like scheduled posts and markdown support, how do you see blogin enhancing internal communication strategies for large enterprises compared to smaller teams?
Miloš Dakić
@mashy. For large enterprises, Blogin serves as a centralized information hub, ensuring scalable communication and consistent messaging across the organization. It boosts employee engagement through transparency and news sharing, aids in knowledge management by archiving best practices and updates, and increases leadership visibility, fostering transparency and trust. Over the years, we have introduced a number of features (like Single Sign-On, API, user provisioning, content approval mechanism, content visibility...), that help large organizations onboard their users and use internal blogs to their full potential. For smaller teams, the blog promotes enhanced collaboration by providing an informal platform for sharing news, knowledge, ideas, and feedback, encouraging innovation and teamwork.

This product is truly impressive! The idea behind it is very interesting. Can you share what's next in terms of features or milestones? Keep up the great work!
Miloš Dakić
@detkov Thanks! We are working on a number of things, among which are newsletter features (daily and weekly digest), native smartphone apps, color customization options, new integrations, options for public categories, new blog themes... there's a lot in the pipeline. :)

BlogIn seems like the perfect solution for keeping teams connected! Love the idea of having a central hub for internal blogs and knowledge sharing 🔝

I'm currently looking for a suitable blog tool for XspaceGPT.com, and Blogin seems like a good option. I'm also considering using Ghost. What advantages does Blogin have compared to Ghost?
Miloš Dakić
@bonvisions Ghost is a great platform but it is primarily used as a platform for external (public) communication. It is designed for publishing and managing content for the public, making it ideal for blogs, newsletters, and other forms of public-facing content. While it can technically be used for internal (private) communication among members, its feature set and design align more with external publishing. On the other hand, Blogin is primarily used for internal communication within businesses and organizations. It is designed to improve internal communications among team members, typically employees, facilitating information sharing, collaboration, and organizational alignment within a company. So, I guess it depends on what you need. It's also a good practice to try both platforms (both offer free trials) before committing to see which better fits your needs.

Congratulations on the launch; this is a very exquisite product. I would like to know the advantages of using your product compared to directly using Notion and allowing each member to create their own documents. Currently, I have seen that there will be a feed to display all podcast articles!

One of the rare products I had the pleasure of working for that are still very much up and running after all this time. This alone just shows the dedication of Miloš’s team to provide a product they firmly believe in. Here’s to another 10 great years! 🥂

We switched over to blogin as our company's internal blog tool several years ago and never looked back! It has most all of the features we could need or expect: Slack integration, read receipts, reactions, comments, scheduling posts (for that night when you finish your writing at 1am but want to hit people's desks bright and early at 7 in the morning while you catch up on rest). Props to the team for a very solid offering.

@simon_riker thanks for the support! ❤️
