Hey, everyone 👋
I want to introduce my last side project: a Sketch plugin ⚡️Bolt.
Now you can import screenshots to Sketch faster with this plugin. Just copy and paste an image from your device or desktop and Bolt will automagically recognize the size of your screenshot and create a new artboard for you ⚡️.
I'm already working on a new ML integration for the next version, so stay in touch after downloading or subscribe to the newsletter.
Thanks to everyone who will support ⚡️Bolt, and I'm looking forward to your feedback!
@valius The plugin is free! Plus there is an optional PRO version. Where is the fraud? Bolt use the Apple Universal Clipboard from your mobile device but you can also copy images from your desktop. Like any plugin aims to improve the UX of some behavior or gesture which I personally find boring and slow to repeat.
Don't say things right to open your mouth!!! If u don't like it, don't use it, do not denigrate the work of others, on the contrary I would ask myself what was the reason why I decided to develop it. Thanks.
This is a great product. I didn't get it at first either so maybe the language you're using to advertise should explain it better. Simply put; this plugin pastes screenshots into artboards and automatically fills to 100% width and height. OR, it will create a new artboard with the selection at the right size instead of too big (currently it does iPhone XS by default, not sure how to change that).
It does that fine, but I wish it would have a setting to insert the screenshot to 100% artboard width but respect the original proportions of the image. Right now it will fill the artboard 100% both width and height which works but not what I was looking for. Hopefully its an easy code update to add that feature.
Well worth the $5 if so.
Hello,
I am sorry I don't get the idea of the plugin.
When I copy screenshoot from my phone and just paste it in sketch it works.
without using any plugins
Hi @ser_migo you can copy and paste to Sketch but currently you have to scale and adapt the image to the dartboard. This plugin solve this issue: depending on the size of your screenshot, Bolt will automatically create an artboard of that size with a layer that contains your image, this allows you to save time and boring. Example: take a screenshot from your iPhone, copy it to Sketch via Bolt plugin, you will automatically have an iPhone X artboard that contains your screenshot in a separate layer. Bolt works with all standard Sketch formats (Apple devices, Android devices, Responsive web, Paper sizes and even custom).
My question is: have you tried the plugin before releasing your feedback? 🤔
