Headphones that are 100% optimized for sleeping. No noise canceling, no taking calls, no streaming music, just pure sleep using Bose's proprietary content.
So they're asking for £229.95 to get castrated earphones that only works with one proprietary app that could get shut down any moment?
I really do love the idea of sleepy earbuds. I'd love to use them with Insight Timer. I'm pretty sure their content can't ever be rivalled by Bose's own library. Or even to listen to a nice podcast before sleep. Happy for the Bose sleep app thingy to take over and send me relaxing quiet sounds to block out noise once my chosen podcast or meditation stopped. Or even better, have the backgriund loop downloaded to the earbuds before you go to bed, to it can turn off the radios and give our brain a few hours with less radiowaves messisng up our sleep...
Great idea, but common Bose!
@gabe__perez Agreed, that's what I was about to ask as well. If they are comfortable and do not cause hearing problems down the line, WITH the ability to use our own music. This is a no brainer buy for me.
This is such great news, I had the first version before they were recalled. These are life changing. So comfortable, and massively help if you live anywhere with noise.
love the idea of earbuds that help you get to sleep -- and stay asleep. But this feels like a partial solution. My biggest problem is noise, not relaxing content. So without noise cancellation, not sure I want them. Plus, only having access to their content is another reason not to buy.
I use my airpods to cancel out my boyfriend's snoring some nights and to play my sleep stories from the calm app. I hope eventually they will come out with a design that is sleep friendly AND allows your own sounds.
