I currently have a virtual mailbox for my letters. Bounce is the perfect compliment for packages! Unlike letters, i don't just want a digital scan, i want my stuffz! Excited to add an SF and NYC bounce address to my amazon account ;)
@brezina Yess; a fixed home where you get your mail, packages, etc may soon become a thing of the past for a segment of the population (like me!)

2️⃣ years ago we launched "luggage storage in local shops" on Product Hunt, and the community was great to us (lots of good comments & we were voted the #1 product of the day).

I rent several UPS store boxes around the country for various reasons. This is a great idea as it could replace those for me. Do you all have plans on receiving USPS packages and letters?
@john_russell1 We can receive packages from any carrier. As far as letters, this would have to be a separate product due to additional legal requirements. We *could* potentially add a virtual mailbox offering in the future for letters.
Awesome idea - would have saved me a lot of time & money reordering packages that disappeared from my last apartment's doorstep!

You're getting rid of one of my biggest fears - missing a package. That's the reason I don't usually order things online. Come to Canada!!

This is great work. When are you planning on extending this to other countries, say India. We could really use it here, since most of the population living here does not have doormen or receptions at their premise.

@tushar_shahi1 Hi Tushar - great question - I have actually lived in India myself and am familiar with the market. We don't yet have a specific timeline for expanding to India but we do plan to have truly global coverage in the future.
Hey! Love the idea and have been using it for a few months. Agree that should improve communication. I have not gotten a single package notification and the store is very sketchy.
Say someone signs up for the per pkg rate, chooses a location and has their purchase sent there. How does Bounce remain involved in subsequent deliveries? I'm assuming that someone doesn't need to run every purchase on say, Amazon, through the Bounce portal. Couldn't that same someone then have countless deliveries sent to that location without Bounce being aware?
@gregory_wehmeyer Hi Gregory - that is such a good question, I can't believe I didn't address this yet. With Bounce, you are signing up to get your Ship-To Address that you can keep using for multiple deliveries. When you use this address, stores check in a package through Bounce which notifies you to come pick it up. Even if you just buy the one-off $5 purchase, you can keep using that address and we can automatically bill you for subsequent shipments -- no need to go through the Bounce portal more than once!

Great idea. Not any close to me but I was willing to travel the 45 min to have peace of mind that my packages were safe after some theft. However, communication is next to none. I have been waiting for a confirmation on capacity at the location I chose all week now. Would love to use the service but it’s a shame you have to wait days on end to get an answer or help.
