I have the child-like scrawlings of a third-grader. I'd love to see some demos of this app converting handwritten text of varying degrees of legibility. Do you all have any examples of that?

I love the concept and have been looking for a product like this for a while. I have horrible handwriting. For me the transcription was about 70 percent, which is decent. If the original image was attached to the note so I could See the context I would be a user today. Really excited about the possibility of this one.
Appreciate you taking the time to feedback, @justinfinkel. Adding the original image to the note is a great idea and is actually something the team have been discussing. It's great to hear that the handwriting recognition is performing well even with 'tougher' to decipher the text. It goes without saying that the clearer the handwriting, the better the result. We encourage people to think ahead if they're writing and think they might want to digitize it later with Brill (saving even more time). Again, thank you for the feedback. Hi @passingnotes, that's a very good idea and we're on it. The general rule with handwriting recognition is that a machine cannot read what a human can't read (yet!). It's also working across multiple languages such as Chinese, Arabic, Japanse, etc. Have you had a chance to try Brill?
