Looks awesome! any lite version? or a demo of some kind? your preview shows only some of the emojis..
Daniel LiCalzi
@danielrziv Thanks! Cool name! There isn't a lite version at the moment. We're adding more examples to our website though. You can only show so many in the Apple preview. Right now we are offering over 500+ Bromoji that are ALL original art. Very high quality too. We are also more about quality than quantity. Most emoji apps out there.. Especially all the celeb ones seem to be not so concerned with quality.. Also, new in-app purchase packs are in the works!

@daniel_licalzi dude.. (bro), i'm sorry to tell you.. I'm a little disappointed. It didn't work as I expected. The emojis are cool! and sooo charming, but the app itself is poor with UX.. the copy-paste thing is just annoying, and the end result is bad. Why would someone actually download(!) a picture of a bong with black background? have you tested it with WhatsApp? I sent my bros some icons and it was sent as a regular photo. Plus, it made my iPhone (6S) get stuck every time I switched into the keyboard. Hope you'll make the most out of my comment. Good luck you guys :)

@danielrziv Thanks for the feedback. Seems like you might be new to emoji apps? If so, no big deal! Here's the down-low on how they all work...The emoji you have in your phone are controlled by the UNICODE overlords and are totally different that any emoji app out there. Those emoji can be easily typed into any text message in-line style and are not recognized as images.. The rest of the emoji apps in the world need to copy and past images that are deigned to look like emoji... All the emoji apps like Bromoji, Kimoji, Moji, Muvamoji, Bitmoji, etc.. have to copy & paste like ours does from the app or a custom installed keyboard. (Note: if you are using the keyboard make sure you allow "full access" in the keyboard settings or it wont' work and might freeze up). As far as Whatsapp's black background on the Bromoji goes. We are aware of it and that's what happens on mostly all emoji apps that us a transparent background in whatsapp .. Mostly all of them don't work in whatapp it seems. I'll add that to our description so there isn't anymore confusion. Your comment is very constructive in that we are now considering if we should put white backgrounds on all our images so it works in whatsapp too. Our files size may go up a little but it's probably worth it to be whatsapp compatible.. Thanks for giving it a shot, bro!

Sup Bros, My name's Dan and I'm one of the four co-founder of Bromoji and I just wanted to share a little bit about how we came up with Bromoji and what it's all about... It's a cool story, bro! There we were, the four of us, on a quad chairlift at Stratton ski mountain in Vermont this past January, shooting the shit when Pete, Martin's older brother says, "How come there are no emoji apps for dudes? What's up with that?!" Now, on the chair lift, from left to right, you have Pete who's in Marketing, Martin who is an amazingly talented artist, Liam who’s a CFA charterholder, and Me, an interaction/industrial designer. So, after Pete's "epiphany" we were all like "yeah, that's true" which quickly became "Bro, we could really do this!” So then, Pete says, “yeah, and we can call it BROMOJI!" And that’s how Bromoji began. Oh and our good friend Colin, an our fantastic developer from fortytwosolutions.com, happend to be staying at the same ski house too... Bromoji pokes fun at “bro” culture. It’s a way for bros to get a laugh from their buddies or flirt with their girls or boys. It's outrageously funny and satirical and has been featured by Maxim, Tech Times, Brooklyn Magazine and more! We really have fun and crack each other up every time we come up with a good one and for me that’s what it’s all about. So I’m writing on Product hunt to extend that fun to anyone who feels like coming up with a Bromoji which we haven’t thought of yet or leaving us a comment to think about or respond too. Feel free to as ask us any questions about our development process; like how we were able to work together so easily and seamlessly in such a short amount of time. Stay Bro, Dan
