Anonymized queries are the data that GSC does not give out via API due to organizations. Each site, depending on click volume, will have a different amount of data available for export. This is an important point for analytics - to understand how complete the data is.

So, we take a unique approach here! We compare the available data (impressions and clicks) with the actual data we get via the GSC API, looking at the gaps in between. This helps us understand how much data you're missing out on when relying solely on GSC. It makes your analysis much more transparent, so you can see how accurate your traffic insights really are.

If your site has millions of clicks per year, you could be missing up to 50% of your traffic, and for sites with hundreds of millions, it could be as much as 90%! But with BigQuery and Buddler, these issues are a thing of the past, and you won’t have to worry about overspending on BigQuery operations either. 😊

So, not always. You might notice some discrepancies when applying filters or looking at data for the last 2-3 days. This happens because the GSC API doesn’t immediately provide fresh stats in full. The final version usually comes through after 2-3 days, so we update and overwrite that data to keep everything as accurate as possible.
