Hello Product Hunt! I’m Ismaël and I’m the co-founder & CEO of Buddy. Buddy is a text-based virtual personal assistant currently available in Messenger. Thanks to his human-trained AI, Buddy is able to understand any of your requests in a natural language and to complete a wide range of tasks on your behalf to make your life easier day after day. For example, Buddy can book restaurant reservations, take care of travel arrangements, book appointments, help you find local services and businesses, arrange for food to be delivered to your door, set time-based reminders during your day and more. Unlike other digital assistants like Siri, Alexa or Cortana, we took things further by designing Buddy as a virtual companion. It means that he is not only good to complete tasks on your behalf but he can also chat with you about anything and engage on an emotional level as you would with a friend. Ultimately our ambition with Buddy is to create a real partner who knows you deeply, knows your family, your job, understands your context, a real friend who makes your life easier every day.
