Love this concept. The feedback loops for physical goods takes far too long, especially for startups. Distribution is also very difficult, especially for indie makers. What cities are you planning to expand to next, @alana_grace?
Alana Branston
@rrhoover Hi Ryan! After NYC, we've definitely seen the most demand from LA. We also get a lot of applications from SF, Austin, Toronto and London.
Nima Gardideh
Very excited to checkout the SoHo store in NYC next month when I visit. Super proud of you guys!
Alana Branston
@ngardideh Thank you Nima!! Definitely come by!
Toby Hervey

Very cool concept! Will definitely check this out when we're in NYC next
Alana Branston
@gaurabc Please do! You can find us at 138 Wooster in Soho or 145 Wythe in Williamsburg.

When are you all opening up a store in the Bay Area?! Congrats on the launch.
Alana Branston
@danthevc Hi Dan! We should be in SF by early 2018.
Thomas Evans
Love the design and illustrations on your site
Alana Branston
@td_evans Thanks, Thomas! I'll be sure to let our Designer know :)

This is so awesome. Seen it before when visiting NYC but didn't know it was not a flee market and you didn't have to be there in person. Are there any downsides or risks to someone with a physical product from working with bulletin? Ps hi @ali_kriegsman !
Alana Branston
@mikeyahdoot @ali_kriegsman Not really! The idea is that they just need to send us their product and the rest is taken care of. There's always a risk of a brand not performing well because of price point, location etc but we still think that's very valuable feedback.

Fantastic concept and superb execution so far. Excited to watch this grow!
Alana Branston
@mbym Thanks Mark! Really appreciate it :)

When I read "WeWork for Retail Space" and selling products IRL in 5 days, I thought you were getting them temporary retail locations (a real estate company in a way). Essentially, you are a glorified consignment store?
Alana Branston
@brad_wolff Our sharing model makes us different from a traditional real estate company but, like a consignment store, we don't actually own any inventory.
Kal Freese
Love this. Can we set up a pop up coffee shop together?
Alana Branston
@kallefreese Yes pls! Email me at alana@bulletin.co

Does this seem like a high end flea market to anyone? Essentially a flea market operates the same way, large space split for retailers...
Ali Kriegsman
@15greenberg This does not operate as a flea market! the designers/brands/companies who rent space from us *are not* physically there themselves. IE it operates as traditional retail where we (Bulletin) provide retail associates to sell the product on their behalf. That way it can operate 7 days a week, like a true store, not a temporary market :-)
Oded
Great idea! Good luck!
Alana Branston
@odedharth Thanks so much Oded!

Out of curiosity, if a customer wants to make a return, would they have to deal directly with that company, or does Bulletin take care of it? Also, this would be a great company to offer gift cards!
Alana Branston
@askdaylen They deal directly with Bulletin. All sales and returns go through our POS. Love the gift cards idea :)
Daylen Sawchuk
The Twitter button on the bottom of your website doesn't work.
Alana Branston
@askdaylen You're right! Thanks Daylen!!

Congratulations on your very interesting launch! Have you considered selling mobile apps IRL? To clarify: You could have a "space" featuring merch for mobile apps that you're promoting... With an iPad in that space featuring all of the apps promoted by your store! This gives customers an opportunity to test out apps before they buy! Thoughts? Thanks, JB.
Alana Branston
@jay_bee12345 Good idea! We eventually want all companies to be able to use retail space as media and lease space in markets that make sense for what they're selling (even if its a mobile app)!
