I like Cake Resume but what's changed in v3? From the video and screenshots it appears to be the same as before.

@anna_0x The profile builder is the biggest change in this version. We only had a drag-and-drop editor in v2. Now we introduce the profile builder to help you build your resume faster.
@anna_0x It works like a linkedin profile. It also has a URL for you to share. So you can just build a profile without exporting it into resumes, vice versa.

no LinkedIn import functionality, that's like really bad, who does it manually nowadays? It has 80% of information I would edit & adjust to my needs, any plans to introduce it any time soon?

Big fan of Cake. As a founder of company which helps professionals establish their professional image, their templates are not just easy to use, but aesthetically pleasing as well. Hard to find the best of both worlds.
While it was nice to have a simple CV i would love some recommendations according to my industry.
Pros:I would recommend it. One less thing to be stressed about. Super easy.
Cons:Can explore many more design ideas and categories, especially for artists.
The "city" field only gives me states to pick from.
Pros:The demo video makes it look really promising.
Cons:Seems buggy.

I have used CakeResume for all my hiring activities as a startup founder. Pretty impressed by the neat design and talents on the platform, I have not wonder whether I should use other talent acquisition channel. I am excited to try out more of CakeResume's great works!
you can publish your resume to a webpage, and let others access it via link. not just a resume. but also a personal website.
