We've been using Canny for about a year now. It's been great for guiding our next feature requests and showing our customers that we care.
Pros:I like how it's automatic. Previously, it has been an extra step to write our product updates in our new releases document.
Cons:Not sure yet. Perhaps an integration with our Intercom mailing list?
Canny is a fantastic product for tracking ideas from your userbase. It is the first place we go when conducting research on a new feature or idea. It also doubles as a great communication tool that allows us to keep users who are interested in specific ideas up to date without having to do additional communications. It doesn't come bloated with a bunch of confusing features you don't need, it does just enough. I've seen quality and considered feature releases from them over the last year+, only adding the most important features which keeps the product simple.
Pros:Great way to let our customers know about new releases. Simple to update and works extremeley well with existing use of Canny.
Cons:Easier way to pull lists of users who have vote on similar but different ideas. Tag all at once in intercom would be great. Or export to CSV
