We built this after realizing some of our best gift buying experiences happen in-person at brick and mortar stores. When you need ideas, the knowledgeable staff gather information about who you’re shopping for and what they’re into, and then use it to make great recommendations. Our tool replicates that experience, and helps online gift shopping feel more personal and human. We’ll gather information about who you’re shopping for—and will use it to suggest a hand-picked selection of products (all available on Amazon) just for them. As our catalog continues to grow, we’re thinking of new ways to increase the value of our community and editorial curation with intelligent personalization. Other companies tend to focus on one or the other, but we think both are necessary in the recipe for a less prescriptive, more personal approach to ecommerce.
