Love the concept and execution. Great job @amandbrar and Canvas team! Do you find Canvas is always a compliment to a previous recruiting process (with in-person or video chat interviews, etc.), or are there any cases where a client completely substituted a voice/video interview with Canvas? I'm thinking about use cases in remote-based companies where the vast majority of valuable communication would be text-based, through Slack, etc.

@caffe1nated Thanks! We are certainly biased and have an ambitious view of text-based screening and interviewing. Plenty of experiences where it's been utilized until a face to face interview. I think it can be pushed further as behavior evolves.

@amandbrar This is a really awesome idea & concept. You should expand to tech/startup-hotspots all over the world such as London, Berlin/Hamburg, Tallinn, Jakarta etc. including the local employment workflow/style and language. Keep up the good work!

Why don't they just use email?

@huangdun At my company, we've found SMS to be a very fruitful channel (we do contract execution via SMS) and the quickest way to a response. It makes sense, especially in this case... milennials are checking texts more often than email in lots of cases. Especially in the job hunt when it relates to _personal_ email which is checked less frequently. I'm sure @amandbrar has thoughts here :-)

Easy to learn, endless possibilities as to what you can do, it's a fun program to use too. Reports are great and informative and the analytics are automatically done for you.
