Tried the plugin found it very useful and it feels like I'm using a design tool. It's more than an inspector. Loved it๐Ÿ™Œ

Loving this so far. My new favorite Chrome extension.
vipul mishra
@michaelfolling thank you.. <3 You are my new favorite hunter.. :)

It's especially great for non-technical people because the inspect element feature of Chrome isn't easy to understand for someone who's not a developer

Pros:

Everything I need is right inside of one chrome extension

Cons:

Don't see any cons yet

Hey @kwdinc, thank you so much for the Hunt and awesomizing product with your feedback.. :) Hey Hunters, we are super excited to launch our Chrome extension for design community - Visual Inspector. We built Visual inspector to set designers free from digging code to make change in live websites. We started using it internally along with few other teams and it has made designers hero of design reviews again. As of now Visual Inspectors allows you to: - Inspect and Change all design properties like position, font, opacity, colours, gradient, typography etc. - Edit website text inline, try new CTAs - Measure distance between various elements โ€‹in the pageโ€‹ - Play with Color theme and typographies - Export page assets and your changes as PNG In last 3 months, we have given 56 hours of user interviews, 38 hours of design & over 140 hours of development effort to make it happen for you and I would love you to try Visual Inspector and share your reviews (links below)... And did I say that it's absolutely FREE for all you awesome Hunters!! Have a feedback/review, leave a comment or drop a note - https://chrome.google.com/websto...

@kwdinc @mj_canvasflip Minor typo: "Assests" for the far right tab, instead of Assets. Very very cool tool!
Dushyant Arora
Loving the tool and moved away from conventional chrome inspect element snippet. Pretty cool and must have an HTML download feature for the edited design :)
Gio Logist
I think a key thing missing from this is the ability for designers to then export the additional CSS generated or HTML changed. This way they can hand it over to someone. Otherwise, why not just use their original design tool of choice and not be limited to what Chrome can do?
vipul mishra
You said it @giologist!! That's something in our roadmap among other things. Stay tuned.
Nitesh Manav
This is incredibly amazing. Great work @mj_canvasflip

All in one tool, simple to use. What I really like with the tool is collaborating with the Marketing or any stakeholder team with actual content in place. Communication gaps are reduced between the team as expectations are very clearly set. This helps the design team conceptualise better. Good tool Vipul. If possible if you can allow us to upload assets as well, that will be super awesome :).
Amos Gyamfi
@mj_canvasflip Really in love with this, most especially the assets feature. By the way, the assets tooltip is misspelled (ASSESTS).
vipul mishra
Thanks @amos_gyamfi.. I'm glad you liked it. Looks more like intentional than a genuine mistake ;) ;) thanks for pointing it out for us.
Satej Sirur
Great job, team! ๐Ÿ‘ Will miss doing stuff with Inspect Element now that I have this.
vipul mishra
@satej_sirur1 Thank you @satej!! Hope this makes world a better place.. :)
Alan Houser
Fantastic! The only thing I see missing is a CSS view of updates โ€” a code view would be handy for Designers to not lose touch with what's happening on the back (of the front) end.
vipul mishra
Sure @pixelmelter. That's in our plan... ;)
Alan Houser
@vm4canvasflip Does it display CSS at all right now? I was just looking, and I couldn't find it.
vipul mishra
We planned this for designers @pixelmelter. Extended dev component will be released in ver 2.0 few weeks from now.
Jeff Waters
This sounds exciting, loving the idea of it!
vipul mishra
Thanks @jeff_wts!! I'm glad you see value in this.. You'll love the extension too.

nothing to add - scary company - no wonder about the end result.

Pros:

the idea behind

Cons:

now closing accounts... but first selling deals ... crazy

Adam

At this point I have nothing to say about them at all.

Pros:

could be a descent product if they actually supported their early adoptors and not screwed them over.

Cons:

Why invest in a company that doesnt even respond to your queries and apperently doesnt care about their early adopters.

klw

The product was looking good but unfortunately was shut down, login in the plugin isn't working anymore (but required for the tool to work). The company sold lifetime deals just through the winter of 2018/19 and announced to stop supporting the product just a few months later.

Pros:

Great concept, easy install

Cons:

Support ending just a few months after selling "lifetime" licenses, product doesn't work anymore.

Samma Karuna

This is a great tool for designers, its almost unreal

Pros:

Wow I really like this, so useful

Cons:

None
