Why'd we make Capsule?

Big picture we're building Capsule as a suite of tools to help people create more professional looking video content without and any video expertise.
The next tool we're building is called Clips and it's the easiest way to produce awesome short video clips from longer content.

OOI, how do professional users feel about not being able to remove all capsule branding?
@bertie Thanks for dropping in and thanks for the thoughtful question.
The Capsule branding is only applied to the Personal and Creator plans. Once you get into the Pro and Enterprise tiers, the branding is removed.
In fact, for our Enterprise customers, we go even a step further and offer a service to design video templates that perfectly match their brand guidelines!
Ultimately we're going to make our video templating IDE available to developers so they can create their own video templates, too. Thank squarespace/wordpress but for video templates.

To bootstrap Capsule initially we sold it to enterprises where the contract sizes were much higher, but ultimately our vision was to build a product for businesses of all sizes. We raised our first round of funding in the beginning of 2021 to help us do it. We launched the self-service product shortly thereafter.
Looks like you guys are doing it right with Capsule @champ_bennett! I'm thinking about ways to incorporate it into a thing I'm currenting tooling away on. 🚀 Exciting times!

I love Capsule and how it’s so easy to use! It cuts hours/days from a current manual process of gathering videos from your users such as testimonials, feedback, intros, etc. Their real-time video processing platform also makes you look really professional in matter of seconds!
Love this, and great website 💪 We're still in the early days of business using video as a bigger part of their content strategy so interested to see where this goes!
