@imjonathanlee@streamnowceo@mailchimp "you could post an image and make the image a link that goes to your mailing list (kind of like a "subscribe here!" image)" isn't that exactly what you're doing? the examples you link to above are just images of a form that you click and then it opens a page with a form
Woohoo! Product Hunt!
We made Rabbut because we wanted to collect emails on our Medium. Medium is kick-ass to write on, but we wanted to get more than just followers out of it. Jon's been racking in huge email subscribes on Medium, so it definitely works well. Since then, we’ve expanded to also writing on LinkedIn, and pretty much ran into the same problem.
The LinkedIn tool is super new, so we’re hoping to get feedback on how everyone may be using it, and where Rabbut can help :)
Also, thanks for the Hunt @bramk!
@imhowardlo@bramk I think everyone want to collect emails on LinkedIn, it's just most people don't have a system to follow that will get them a consistent stream of emails....this is a great idea and I hope you can mention my PH https://www.producthunt.com/book... to help all those who want a fool-proof system that will HELP them take advantage of @rabbutmail
I thought there would be a form for submission embedded in LinkedIn pulse example post but it was only a clickable image that would take you to somewhere.
@imjonathanlee so from the medium and linkedin example that you show, the product doesn't seem to do what this page is claiming. neither the medium nor linkedin posts above have a form embeded when I visit. They just show an image of a form that you click and it opens a link in a new tab.
