Hey Product Hunters! 👋 I'm Jake, Co-founder & CEO of Cascade. Many of us deal with data every day, but unless we can write scripts it's absurdly difficult to truly automate the work we do. An example: after my last company was acquired, we needed to pipe our email subscribers over to the company that bought us. The solution? Exporting and emailing CSVs until we could get the attention of engineering. We were drowning in dashboards, but we still couldn't put our data to work. That's why we built Cascade.io, to allow teams to automate the data workflows that power every business. We make it easy for operations teams and analysts to go beyond the dashboard and deliver the right data to the right people at the right time, automatically. We've seen Cascade used for: 📦 Crunching shipping data to find delays 🛴 Dispatching scooter pickups and dropoffs 🧑🏽‍💼 Coordinating recruiter assignments 🧾 Translating work logs to customer-specific invoices To make it work specifically for data-savvy but non-technical teams, we needed to make sure that someone who's advanced at Excel feels even faster in Cascade. That's why we made sure you can use the same formulas you're used to in Excel, run complex operations like regressions and fuzzy joins, and effortlessly crunch heavy data loads. A number of examples and use cases are available on our website, check it out! We're also offering this crew 20% off the first year, just use code PH20 when you sign up. We’re currently onboarding new customers, so check us out: 👉 https://www.cascade.io/ Questions? Feel free to ask!

Seems like an awesome idea! Can I apply this to a company on any market? And also wanted to know if this can be like a hierarchy, for example automate some processes for the whole company, some for a specific area and some for a specific team?
Jake Fuentes
@sebaslop12 Yes! Different teams can operate in workspaces, allowing them to work together but separate from other teams. Workflows in Cascade are chainable, so you can have a few workflows running for the whole company and other team-specific workflows branching off of that. You can also capture and deploy logic in a workflow across the whole company, so that everyone is using the same logic. Let's chat!

This team is awesome! Definitely one to follow. Love the concept and can't wait to see where they take the product!

This is awesome! @jakefuentes do you support pulling rows from Airtable?
Jake Fuentes
@embirico Hey Alex! Not quite yet - we support pulling from most databases and Google Sheets today. Airtable coming soon, and we might be able to stand up a custom connector for you pretty quickly. Let's chat?

I was lucky enough to call Jon Brelig my co-founder at InfoScout (now Numerator) - he is an exceptionally amazing talent and what Cascade is doing is the perfect application of his skills & experience. As an early user of Cascade, I am completely blown away by what he and the team have already built - and they're only getting started!

How we use it for Ops team in my company as a Software Developement Agency?
Jake Fuentes
@namtran_wd Hi David - we've seen consultancies use Cascade for things like mapping hours spent on client work to custom pricing, then piping the result to an invoicing system on a schedule. Is that the kind of thing you deal with? Happy to chat!
