Love these guys and the product feels like spark notes for meeting prep.

@ajt Price(s)? Always hate it when you can't see it before signing up.
Aaron Frazin
@SacBookReviewer @ajt Free - focusing on growth right now!

@ajt Same here! Reminds me of the Nimble CRM app which shows social data before meetings. Awesome guys!
Aaron Frazin
Anyone that want's to see their own briefings, let me know!

@rrhoover https://charlieapp.com/briefings... - congrats on the fundraise Ryan, crushing it.
Mark Bao
@afrazin Would love to see what it looks like, thanks!
David Singer
@afrazin Let's give it a shot :) (last time I tried one of these there was a mix of really old info and someone else)
Philip Manavopoulos
@afrazin is there an API? Or any plans to have one?
Aaron Frazin
@jaronrayhinds @manavo I can't even begin to tell you how many people emailed us about an API the past couple days. Interesting. Curious to hear how you'd use it if we built it? Email me first name at Charlieapp.
djjaron
@afrazin @jaronrayhinds @manavo email is sent! You have so much actionable data that it would only make sense to put some predictive AI in there.. :)

I've been a beta tester for awhile and it's a pretty awesome service. The kind you don't need to remember to log in and check. It just connects to my calendar and sends me an email in the morning about what I need to know about meeting attendees to put me ahead of the game before meeting. It's pretty useful.

@afrazin can I get my briefing? also any plans for an android version?
Fletcher Richman
The chrome plugin is kick ass. https://chrome.google.com/websto...

This looks so cool but I'm incredibly skeptical to let it read and search my email. Wish there were an option to leave that out.
Kevin Nakao
I have been testing on 2 accounts for the last day and it works well. In fact I wish I could combine both accounts (work, personal). So far, around 9 matches , 1 unknown and 1 missed. Nice intercom.io integration as well.
Aaron Frazin
@knakao Intercom is awesome. Also thanks for checking it out, we'll let you know when we support multiple accounts ASAP.

Been on the platform for approx 60 days , love the #UI .. Best feature is the email reminders of the scheduled appointment with all the actionable data. #StackTheDeck Only similar service I have found in http://contactive.com/calendar which has an API and native app for Android.. Awesome product.. :)

@afrazin way to go, my friend!

@afrazin this is great, especially for new guys like me :) I checked it out and went through the process, easy, organised and professional. I have a thought in mind though. As I do with most products I check out here, I try to see how I would use it currently & in this case I will be attending the web summit in Dublin this year, So a thought came to me. This would be perfect for conferences with a lot of journalists & investors that are approached by startups. I would love to get connected with you to further the discussion. you can drop me a line on kroushdy67@gmail.com.
Aaron Frazin
@k_roushdy @afrazin @gmail Awesome I'll shoot you an email

This is pretty cool, seems super useful. What other networks will you add? Angellist?
Jonathan Chizick
Been using Charlie since the beginning and it's continually improved. Great basic info to have before meeting with someone. Even more useful is getting all their social & news links in one place so I don't have to search for them manually.
David Spinks
Wow this is pretty great. Basically what I do manually before meetings anyway. nnMy concern is I don't always have people's emails and info in my calendar invites. nnDoes it just email me the info before a meeting? Any way I can just search for someone manually?
Aaron Frazin
@DavidSpinks Yep, on your Charlie dashboard (www.charlieapp.com/dashboard ) you can get research on anyone even if they aren't in your calendar!
David Spinks
@afrazin @DavidSpinks very cool. Used it for the first time this morning. Definitely helpful. Only thing that was odd was the news it pulled in. I looked at my own profile and it pulled in news from like, 5 years ago, about things I'm not longer involved in. Other than that, everything was relevant and helpful. Thanks for building this. Oh one other thing is it keeps saying "You've looked at 2/5 pages" or something and it tells me to create an account, but I'm already logged into my account. It's a little confusing, what does that mean?
Saul Fleischman
@afrazin when I try to connect G.Calendar, I get "This webpage is not available." Please let me know when that's working again, or what to do. Great concept, btw.
Aaron Frazin
@osakasaul Hmm - Never heard about this happening before. Check your email.
Saul Fleischman
@afrazin just started working for me today, thanks.

What are the key differentiators to Refresh? I use refresh and love it, but happy to try Charlie if there are some extra goodies that will make my life easier.
Kishan Gupta
Big fan of Charlie App. Lifesaver when you are running late to a meeting.
Alexander Kehaya
Just got my first briefing. Very useful!
Trey Sims
This could be killer for the PR industry. Need to be able to add in more specific/custom info for context and compare social graphs against two external parties, but this could save a mid-sized agency thousands of dollars in billable hours every year by eliminating research for clients ahead of meetings.
