Could someone please explain how/why this is more useful than just using a shortcut to the web page? I assume that login-persistence would be the biggy, but anything else?
From what I recall on iOS, the GPT4 on mobile was a slightly nerfed version from the regular version :(
@koleajeolayinka Is usage free as well? Or do I have to sign into my OpenAI account and use my credit card etc?

I can't wait to try OpenAI's original ChatGPT Android app! In the meantime, big kudos to all the other developers who've been bringing ChatGPT to our phones long before this. Their hard work and dedication shouldn't go unnoticed. As we wait for the official app, let's not forget to check out the WiseTalk and other fantastic apps already out there. I hope OpenAI will keep the API open, allowing us all to continue enjoying the benefits of this technology.
This looks great! Although heavy users like myself already used it on mobiles using different apps. However, I preferred chrome on my iPhone for using ChatGPT on the go. But this app will make it much easier. I hope they will launch the app for iPhones soon.
When will ChatGPT with Bing come back? I really don’t like searching on Google
@nikhil_kundra2 Bing works perfectly for me. It hasn't been off at all on my end. Unless you mean something else that I have note understood.
They would have asked chatGPT to create an Android app for them. Still it took this much time to release.
Sounds really great! Will it be available as an application or do you have to access via web (as for laptop)?
My Android friends will finally be able to enjoy the fun I had with ChatGPT :)
