ChatGPT for iOS — The official iOS app for ChatGPT

Woah didn't expect this today! It's currently only available in the US with more countries and Android coming soon!

The problem is: can the official ChatGPT stand out from all the other third party apps that came first? And will it actually offer the features and functionality that people want, or only a subset? And — will they enforce their trademark?

I'd be surprised if this isn't #1 in the App Store before EOD tomorrow.

The only negative is that this is the original version so not updated beyond the latter part of 2021. For the up to date version you still have to use the Bing app.

Congratulations on the iOS launch. As an iPhone and iPad Pro user I am also excited to see any potential developments for iPadOS as well. :)

Even leveraging GPT-4, it is still operating with the old Sept 21 ‘most recent data date’ and doesn’t access the internet which sort of confused me, considering I had thought that accessing the internet was innately a part of the GPT-4 feature set. That said, the ability to use Whisper to ask it your questions / prompts (as opposed to Siri [barf]) is certainly a plus…

how does this only have 1 review in the app store? Also, is anyone else seeing it delisted in the app store?
