I can immediately see the utility and value here! I do a lot of explainer videos to my customers and one of the annoying things for me is to extract valuable moments of these and re-use them on LinkedIn posts. This is where I felt Chopcast comes in making this a breeze. 🙌

I’m Kareem Mostafa, co-founder of chopcast.
My brother and I started chopcast in our spareroom with nothing but a beat-down whiteboard and an honest question: How much of the video content we work hard on creating actually gets the attention it deserves?
Chopcast started off as a service. We worked with brands who would send us their videos and we’d repurpose them manually. We realized that it takes a long time to search for key moments manually, do timestamp calculus, and generate subtitles, style and edit videos, and resize all in one place. It was too expensive and clunky. We thought, what if we can automate this for ourselves and others? So we set off to solve the same problem again but with a different, more scalable solution.
Today, chopcast helps creators automatically identify key moments in their YouTube videos, podcasts, events, and recordings using NLP, which can then be shared as LinkedIn videos, TikToks, Shorts, and more.

The existing alternatives are paying for complex video editing tools, hiring video editors, or both.
