Circle is a value-based social network. Circle allows you to rate other users based on the value they contribute to the platform. Circle allows you to connect with your Social Circle and Inner Circle more meaningfully than any other social network.

Hello, Everyone. I'm Tim. I created this platform from my personal love for what Instagram used to be. I used to post on Instagram every day religiously and used to love watching my friends post every day as well, with no financial or work-related motives at all. I used to love the fact that people used to post relatable quirky moments of their day instead of how they glamourize their life now. The only incentive for people was that it was cool and fun. That's the founding spirit of Circle. It's a social networking platform primarily that allows you to express yourself freely and post content that makes you happy. We have strict content guidelines and only allow real relatable content no matter who you are. All self-promotion is strictly prohibited. The feed is chronological, not algorithmic and the people you interact with are people closest to you. What you can do on Circle - Follow a maximum of 999 people, Have 300 of them in your Circle and 15 of them in your Inner Circle. - Post at any time. No notification to tell you when you can or can't post. - Post HDR Images - Post 6 Second Looping Videos - Send out Short-text status updates named blasts - Send Blasts anonymously to people within a 1-mile radius - See Anonymous Blasts within a 1-mile radius - Comment on Posts (Primary mode of interaction) - Comment on Anonymous Posts, Anonymously. - Message People Anonymously that connect with you on Anonymous Posts - Rate other people's posts - Rate other users - Nearby Human Suggestions in real-time. - Report posts as edited which tags them as edited (mainly for face-tuned, photoshopped pictures, etc.) - Mark the TV shows you're currently binging, Music you've been listening to on repeat, or books you're reading currently to find people in your circle who might be doing the same. - Add a direct and public link to your YT Channel, Twitter, Twitch, Imessage, or Fansly account so people can find you on the other realms. What you can't do with Circle - Building a following or using the platform for advertising? Not in our little corner of the internet. - No promotion of Forex courses or any kind of marketing shenanigans. - Post trailers, links, or brand awareness assets to pass them off as posts. - Make Accounts for pets, kids, events, brands, businesses et al. - Say goodbye to endless metrics and comparisons. It's not about numbers here. Someone with a small network can still be incredibly valuable. Additional Important Information : - Circle is offline first. You only need an internet connection to upload an image or a video, every other feature is independent of network connectivity. - Anti-Bullying Measures. The rating algorithm is designed to consider the possibility that it might be used for bullying and harassment. You can only rate someone once a day. You can rate someone down every day for the rest of your lifetime and it still wouldn't make a dent. The algorithm is exponential so you need a critical mass of thousands of people to collectively rate them down at once which is highly unlikely. - Oh, and about those troublemakers who flout the rules? They're tagged with a red exclamation mark next to their name. If they continue spreading hate or engaging in inappropriate behavior, their reports will be publicly available for all to see. That way, you can make an informed decision about whether you want them in your circle or not. Developer Information - I was a finance major in London who wanted to build something to add to my portfolios so I could apply to CS master's programs. I decided to build a social platform because I've increasingly found myself craving the original Instagram experience when the only posts I saw from people I didn't recognize were from 9GAG and everybody else was a real person. I've met my closest friends from Instagram and I don't see myself being able to do that on any platform anymore. If there are any of you who feel the same way, this platform is for you. - I'm currently testing with a very limited set of users and pushing out a new update with any changes every 2 weeks.
