Congrats on the launch Austin and team! Curious to hear how you're using Clarity yourselves to build Clarity?
Austin Piel
@benln Thanks Ben! Appreciate you hunting us :-) We've been using Clarity for *everything* — meeting recording, CRM, feature request tracking, and even project management. The power of having everything in one place, connected to our customers, has made it easy to stay on top of everything going on. It's been particularly helpful for new team members to understand context about the business. Something I learned while at Notion is that rigorously using your own product helps you deeply understand its strengths, shortcomings, and competitive advantages. We're Clarity's biggest users (for now!)

Congrats Rohan and the Clarity team. Loved the "mom testmionials" on the website. Good idea. I tried to signup but it took me to a Calendly page rather than a signup page? Was that intentional? Felt a bit odd to do that when I was expecting a signup and without any intimation. Best wishes and let me know once you have a signup. Would love to explore in the future
Rohan Varma
@kumrr We like to do the chat just to help get all the integrations setup and your data is in a good place since it is a very data heavy tool. That being said - I’ll get you set up with a workspace to get started!

Congrats on the launch!! As a PM I love the idea of extracting product feedback and tracking trends across calls ✨

Congrats on the launch! Can’t wait to give us a try!

I love the top-level positioning of "meeting recorder for founder led sales" — super clear "what-it-is" and "who-its-for". What are the core insights/beliefs that have driven your product development up to this point? Is it just that AI makes it possible to automate the extraction of insights from customer calls + connecting those insights across tools? Does your team have some outside view about what great founder-led sales looks like that you're codifying into a product?
Rohan Varma
@calvinlegassick Thanks for support! I'm glad the messaging comes across clearly :) Our fundamental belief is that customer interaction data, especially call data, is a businesses' most valuable asset. It is where customers voice their perspective, commitments are made, and proprietary context is created. Businesses, and especially startups, are highly under-utilizing this data. We still live in a world where every employee is operating with a different understanding of customer needs. Companies still, inaccurately, manually track feedback and try to make decisions with incomplete information. Clarity aims to provide a better way. By focusing on sales-led startups, we can activate call recording data in a purpose-built way. We have some opinions on great founder-led sales, mostly learned through dozens of mistakes made in past startups and mentorship from advisors like YCombinator. However, we're most excited to learn with our users and, together, figure out the best way to unlock this emergent and untapped data source to help them grow their businesses!
Joey Frasier
Curious to hear about how what size orgs you would put into the founder led sales category? When do companies not benefit from selling this way?
Rohan Varma
@joeyfrasier Great question Joey! We believe the best companies never stop being "founder-led" in the ethos of the sales motion. They continue to understand what customers want and build it. Our goal is to scale with companies as they grow and help them continue to stay close to their customers!

This looks amazing! Super pumped to try it out :). What do you see as the clunky tech stack that founders currently use, that you're hoping can be replaced by Clarity?
Nishchit Dhanani
Congrats on the launch. It looks solid product!! @austin_piel

Congratulations on the launch! I'd love to learn about some of the advantages of using Clarity over something like Gong, and what makes founders in particular different from other folks running sales calls? Looks amazing though!
Rohan Varma
@rabraham During founder-led sales, each customer call is equally about selling as it is about building. Founders on the call are playing the role of account executive and product manager. Tools like Gong are built for the sales use case. However, product team needs are supported by the functionality Gong has. This includes things like extracting product insights, tracking requests, roadmapping, and more! In the early days, most founders don't use Gong. They use either no call recorder, or a generic call recorder. Clarity provides a better way: purpose-built for founder-led sales juggling both sales and product needs. Then, as you grow, Clarity supports your sales team needs and product team needs.

Congrats on launch Austin, Rohan, and Mital! I wish Clarity was around when I individually cronboarded the first 1,000 users to Cron 🔥
Rohan Varma
@raphaelschaad Wow! That would have been an incredible dataset for the team to learn and strategize with! We'll have to make sure the next 1,000 Notion Calendar user interviews are recorded in Clarity  😉
Vinay Kevadiya
Definitely going to use this, soon i am going to start sales outreach at Upmetrics. Good luck.
Mital Kamani
@vinay_kevadiya Thanks Vinay! Would love to hear your thoughts and how we can provide value to customers like you! If you haven't yet, sign up and let's get you onboarded!
Sanchit Bareja
This is exactly what I needed to capture feedback from our user interviews to channel into our product roadmap :) Going to give it a try!
Rohan Varma
@sanchit_bareja1 Excited to get you on the product Sanchit!
Cameron Napoli
Congrats on the launch! Clearly a need for many b2b founders here on PH. What does the pricing look like? Also what platforms does it integrate with? (google meet, zoom, etc) Might be nice to have that on your landing page to show potential customers exactly how it works.
Rohan Varma
@cameron_napoli Thanks for the questions and appreciate the feedback Cameron. We integrate with all video calling software: zoom, google meets, teams, and more! On pricing - we have 3 tiers: • -1 to 0: A call recorder with all the usual fix-ins which is $20/user/month. • 0 to 1: CRM integration, feedback tracking, roadmapping tools, slack support integration, linear integration - flat fee of $500 / month • 1 to N: customer facing roadmapping, advanced sales team features, and more - custom enterprise pricing For companies on the 0-1 and 1-N tiers, we don't charge per seat. We are building a collaboration tool and we believe every person at your company should benefit from Clarity. So we made our pricing to reflect that.
Hunter Brooks
@rohan_varma1 is there a trial for the CRM tier? Would be happy to try it out

Hello Product Hunt, 👋🏾 I'm Rohan Varma, one of the co-founders of Clarity. Every founder is told to use a call recorder, but none of the call recorders are tailor-made for b2b founder-led sales. We're excited to announce the launch of Clarity - the best meeting recorder for founder-led sales. Here is how it works: - Record all customer interactions with Clarity's meeting bot - Integrate Slack support channels - Integrate your CRM or use our CRM-lite - Clarity extracts action items and notes from each call - Clarity documents feature requests and feedback for each customer This enables you to: - Share highlight reels from each call with your team - Use request tracking to close the loop with every customer - Search feedback and spot trends across calls - Track and prioritize product opportunities to close more deals Finding product-market fit is hard. Building with Clarity makes it a little bit easier 🙂 We would love to hear if you have any questions or feedback!
Tony Han
That moment when you have REAL mom's testimonials - that's when you know you've done it haha! Jokes aside, love the concept and idea. Every customer call is an opportunity to obtain as much context as possible to prioritize product backlog better, to sell better and just gain insights for the whole org to use. Love that it's not just a simple meeting recording bot or knowledge base, but it's a constantly evolving CRM in a way too! Great hunt @benln and congrats on the launch @rohan_varma1 and team!
Rohan Varma
@tonyhanded exactly! We believe that call recording data is the perfect foundation for solving a ton of different use cases for startups.
Andrew Chen
Congrats on the launch! I feel like the sales-product connection is missing for existing options out there today. How do you imagine a Series A company using this tool when we are transitioning from founder led sales to a more traditional team? Is this designed to have sales and product team members in the platform? Or any integrations to Linear or Asana?
Rohan Varma
@_andrewchen thanks for the support Andrew! Great question - Clarity becomes most valuable once your company grows beyond founder-led sales. We provide tools to keep sales and product in lock-step so that you continue to build what customers want and provide world-class support, all while growing the team. Normally, a growing company will see context fragment and inefficiency emerge from needing to align more. With Clarity, context remains easily shared across the org and our tooling enables seamless collaboration around closing customers to keep your team moving fast and focused!
Gary Lin
Just what the market needs! What's next on the roadmap?
Shawn Li
Congrats team! Just curious how if you’ll be incorporating LLM capabilities to summarize in big buckets the priorities coming out of these sales calls? I’ve found that people’s attention spans are shorter and shorter these days which means many people say they listen to founder calls but don’t actually
Rohan Varma
@shawn_li1 100% - context sharing isn't just about giving your team access to the data. It requires making the data easy to consume and ingest. We've been able to use LLMs, combined with some classical ML algorithms, to extract and categorize feedback into trends. This allows teams to see, at first glance, what types of feedback are coming up in customer interactions and where they should focus their efforts.
Sohil Kshirsagar
Congrats on the launch! Product looks awesome. Curious, have y'all stopped taking notes entirely during customer calls? Or do you still try and jot down takeaways?
Madhu Balakrishna
Congrats on the launch! Features look promising, I'm curious about CRM integrations - are you planning to offer APIs / first party integration to export summaries to platforms like HubSpot? This seems crucial, as keeping these insights within the main sales source of truth (CRM) could significantly boost the tool's value. I didn't spot this on your website - any plans in this direction?
Rohan Varma
@madospace Hey Madhu - great question! We support a two-way sync with Hubspot out of the box! Agreed that having data live in Hubspot is very important for sales. Product, on the other hand, doesn’t spend much time in Hubspot. Thus, having the CRM data in Clarity and enriching the feedback data is a huge unlock for product teams!
