Wonder why they decided to make this when there are already a number of other apps that do the same thing which raised VC funding last year
Sean Washington
@_jacksmith mind linking a couple?
Andy Cook
@_jacksmith Even if there are other identical competitors, if the product is relatively straight forward to build without many technological barriers, then a late-to-the-game startup that is the best at distribution can still win. Perhaps that's the move?
Freak so
@seanwashington @_jacksmith Truebill there is both android and iOS apps
Adam Dell
@_jacksmith There is no other app that allows you to: lower bills, cancel accounts, create a savings account, get a better credit card and get your credit score - all within the app and all at the push of a button. Hope you enjoy using Clarity Money.

@annonymous We are actively working on our Android app.

Where's your privacy policy?
Marc Atiyeh
@shlomofellig Hi Shlomo and thank you for the questions. Our privacy policy can be accessed through the app, or here: https://claritymoney.com/privacy

Clean design. There's a lot of great utilities that other apps and companies focus entirely on in this one app. Going to try it out and report back.
Charley Ma
Love the UI/UX that the Clarity team has built, I think that we're starting to see a "rebundling" of fintech services into one coherent financial product for consumers
Marc Atiyeh
@charleyma Thank you Charley! We appreciate the feedback
Cody
Well, tired it but doesn't work correctly with my credit union (even though it is listed) . It seems none of these apps work with my bank properly. Was worth a shot at least!
Taylor Zorman
Beautiful and useful. I deleted several personal finance apps and replaced them all with Clarity.
Marc Atiyeh
@taylorzorman Glad you're happy with it!
Greg Moore
Seems like we've seen a number of these on PH as of late. I went with Clarity purely due to the ease of use.
Marc Atiyeh
@gmoore131 Thank you Greg and welcome to Clarity Money!
Zac Nielson
Need this in my life! So easy to get tons of subscriptions these days, trying to live more minimally, so this helps a lot. Good hunt!
vishal srivastava
@zacherynielson Thanks !! We do a ton more than helping you manage subscriptions and a ton more is in pipeline. Hope you enjoy the app!!
Ian
I've wasted time already on learning about one app today, so let me just ask if it is available and works outside North America?
Marc Atiyeh
@ianmayman Hi Ian! We currently only support US institution. But we're working on supporting more countries. Stay tuned!
Pascal Andy
Does it works for canadians ?
Marc Atiyeh
@_pascalandy Hi Pascal, we do not currently support Canadian institution, but it's definitely one of our priorities.
Jared Henriques
Interested to try. Not available in Canadian app store. Any timeline?
Marc Atiyeh
@jaredhenriques Hi Jared, Canada is top of our list, no firm timeline yet... but before the end of 2017.
Nazim Amin
Played around for couple of minutes. Absolute beautiful UI! Feedback bubble should probably be hidden, though.
Marc Atiyeh
@amin_nazim Thank you for the feedback. We wanted to give our early users the ability to voice their positive or more importantly constructive feedback.
tom mauriello
Nice looking app, visually it seems to be taking a 'lifestyle' approach where Truebill is "just the facts ma'am". I'd suggest a younger demo leans Clarity, but just wild guess.
vishal srivastava
@tommauriello thanks a lot, we are glad you liked it.

"Enter number and text me the app" - What the fudge?
Morgan Crozier
Looks cool - I tried to download it but the link that it texted me just takes me back to the homepage. Wish there was a simple android app install, because I literally can't access the product.
Marc Atiyeh
@morgan_crozier Unfortunately Morgan, we only iOS! Building an Android app for Q1
John Wu
This also comes with easy-to-use free credit check.
Adam Dell
@john_wu1 oh yes! That too!
Adam Dell
Hi. Adam Dell here. We built Clarity Money to give consumers and advocate. For the first time, in the palm of your hand, you have an advocate to help you manage your money. A partner who is looking out for you. All within the Clarity Money app, you can lower your bills, cancel wasteful accounts, transfer money, create a savings account and get your credit score. The app also provides unprecedented transparency into your spending. It’s beautiful, easy to use and there is nothing like on the market. I think you will love it. Today we are featured in the Apple App Store. I’d be honored if you would try Clarity Money and, if you are so inclined, please share this message with friends and colleagues who would benefit from having a partner in financial health. Thank you! Adam Dell Founder & CEO Clarity Money
Freak so
@adam_dell Hi how its different from Truebill ?
Adam Dell
@annonymous No other app let's you lower and cancel bills, right in the app. And it does this in the context of your entire financial picture. We hope you enjoy Clarity Money.
Patrick Thompson
@adam_dell So how does Clarity Money figure out what services I'm subscribed to and can be cancelled? How does the lowering bills work, in more detail?
vishal srivastava
@neurohacked we use sophisticated pattern recognition algorithm to detect services that a user is subscribed to. Our algorithm is continually trained to identify not only monthly or weekly but any recurring expense. Lowering the bills works with a click of a button. We work and integrate with many services to help our customers with bill lowering.
Kelly Kuhn-Wallace
@adam_dell Is credit repair automation in your roadmap? We have numerous channels for credit report/score access in the US, but few tools to facilitate the removal of erroneous data and unverifiable data.
Idris Mokhtarzada
Congrats on the launch and welcome to the club! Looks like you scraped some images and elements (like service logos) from Truebill. Maybe add a "Powered by Truebill" attribution?
Jourdan Urbach
@idris Your marketing folks seem to like it ;P http://blog.truebill.com/pros-pe...
Jack Smith
@jourdanurbach lol, it looks like they've updated the blog post to remove the mention now. shows up in the google cache though: http://webcache.googleuserconten...
Matt Broberg
@idris I appreciate you bringing this up and especially the tone in which you did. Has anyone from Clarity Money either confirmed or denied this? The lack of a response is far worst IMO than the action alone.
