Ditch the code. Bring your next image or video project to life with simple visual building blocks and human language prompts. Introducing MediaFlows, the low-code platform from Cloudinary built to help you code less – and build more.
Hey Product Hunters 👋!
Jordan, Ehud, Eran, and Amit here. We’re the builders of MediaFlows: the low-code platform from Cloudinary that lets any builder – dev or not – build stunning apps involving image and video in minutes.
An early version of MediaFlow launched a few years ago on Product Hunt. We’ve come a *long* way since then. Today we’re launching a next-gen, low-code development environment powered by FlowAI, the language-to-flow capability that lets you build...crazy fast.
We’ll share more – but first a few words about us. :)
We've collectively spent years working with image and video, and found ourselves frustrated by the heavy lift in building visual media-rich apps. There are lots of awesome tools out there for coders. But if your goal is to get to market fast – it just takes too long to write, scale, and maintain.
MediaFlows provides a simple, drag-and-drop interface for building visual media workflows – along with out-of-the-box templates, logic, and integrations built specifically for images and video.
🗄️ Tag and organize your visual media
🖼️ Transform images and video (replace image backgrounds, recolor images)
🔗 Integrate with tools like Akeneo, Twilio, SendGrid, Slack, and more
🪄Orchestrate services (e.g., genAI)
And with this launch, we’re especially excited to announce FlowAI. It harnesses the power of AI to automatically build automations from free text prompts. Just type in what you want to do in plain language (e.g., “transform every image to banner size with an overlay of our brand logo”) and watch the magic happen.
MediaFlows users reduce coding time by an average of 70% on image- and video-related workflows.
We’re excited to hear your feedback and answer any questions you might have. And as a special offer to the Product Hunt community – mention that you discovered us on Product Hunt after registering to enjoy your first six months totally free.
Cheers,
Jordan, Ehud, Eran, and Amit
Hey @josooba_at_fabrie
Sure thing!
MediaFlows leverages Cloudinary addons and Google Vision AI to automatically scan and tag images and video. Feel free to explore the MediaFlows and contact us on Intercom if you have any questions or need assistance.
if someone used this, i would really like to see the final result, i still dont get what it does. (im not a developer or anything maybe thats the reason)
Hey @koosha_a, thanks for the question! Many of our users use MediaFlows to do transformations of images and video with minimal code – you can check out some cool examples of background removal (https://www.home.mediaflows.clou...) and automatic video summarization (https://www.home.mediaflows.clou...). Others use MediaFlows for more "back office" management of image and video assets – e.g., syncing images between two systems, or automatically applying tags to an asset. (Less glamorous, but just as important!)
Thanks so much, @megan_leinenbach! At the moment, MediaFlows requires a small amount of coding (mainly to configure flows flexibly). But we're evolving the product every day. And the vision for the near future is for MediaFlows to be a no-code solution that lets _anybody_ built media-rich apps. :)
Cloudinary is powerful in its own right, but with this addition, you really get to be creative and build custom workflows unique to your business. Great stuff
Thanks so much for the feedback, @holyscapegoat. You're right – we have a long way to go in terms of mobile optimization. It's a priority/roadmap item for us, especially because we anticipate more mobile usage as we further simplify the usage experience with AI-based features. In any case...thanks again for the feedback, and hope to be able to share updates with you as we make some strides here!
Intuitive tool that makes it event easier to build and maintain media workflows leveraging Cloudinary's features.
Great (and fun😁) way to build things fast.
