Thanks to Kevin for hunting the ecommerce Toolkit.
We have worked with a lot of ecommerce stores and identified the common issue of the lack of a single resource that can help store owners forecast and plan ahead.
We did our research and came up with this set of tools that store owners can use to quickly estimate a particular part of the pricing strategy.
So whether you are a store owner, developer, trainer or simply a commerce enthusiast, we invite you to try out these tools and help us improve this toolkit.
First of all, thank you, @Kevin, for hunting Ecommerce tool kit.
Our reasoning behind the Ecommerce Toolkit was to make it easier for store owners to forecast and pre-plan their goals to achieve greater business success.
We have seen on various social forums that store owners are confused about how to scale their business. They are clueless about how to relate store traffic with growth. Similarly, they found it difficult to predict store conversions or retention rate.
We hope these tools will help aspiring business owners throughout their ecommerce journey.
Please give us your feedback and also let us know if there is anything we can improve in the toolkit. We are all ears. :)
@sajjad_gt, the tools look great but how do you determine the accuracy of these tools? Like for conversions, what is your criteria for having 2 percent rate? And do ecommerce stores have to enter this data? I don't think many would like to share that. :)
Hey @sharjeelashraf1
Thanks for the comment. The conversion rate varies from industry to industry for some it is around 5% and for some, it is as low as 0.5% considering that we have taken the average at 2.5%. The tool translates the average rate to profit for beginner store owners that want to understand variables in layman terms.
Moreover, the ecommerce store owner can stay at ease as this type of data is not recorded.
So i tested out the traffic calculator. It looks really great. Makes all that calculation really easy. But few things in the output depends on variables, like conversion rate, bounce rate and few other things. The output doesn't take all those things into calculation. It would be great if it does.
Hi @azazqadir
Thanks for checking them out. The tool(s) are based on certain industry standards and they are only meant to give you an idea about any specific metric.
However, we will keep making it better while considering all of your suggestions.
