Clover is the digital notebook that blends notes, tasks, whiteboards, and a daily planner into one streamlined app so you can spend more time thinking and less time fussing with your tools.
I have been using Clover for a few months now and after years of numerous productivity tools (and even teaching a productivity class On skillshare that over 50,000 people took), I can say that Clover is getting it right!
For me, Clover has nailed the blend of day-to-day prioritization, while ensuring my overdue tasks are not forgotten, but also not distracting. And consolidated my notes app, task management app, and even paper post-it note addiction to easily highlight my top tasks for the day.
Props to @attasi and team on consistently implementing user feedback to make the product better each week. Can't wait to see this company grow!
I’m a daily Clover user, and practically live in the product. Biggest unlock for me was the calendar view of my tasks, which makes it easy to push incomplete tasks to the next day when I inevitably don’t complete them all. Highly recommended!
Huge shout out to all the team!
What a great app!
As a designer, tasks and project info are a great part of my (daily) workflow.
In the past I've used mixed combo of apps like Things+Crafts, Todoist+bear, etc etc.
With Clover, I can have it all on the same app, available anywhere.
And the Surface feature is a super nice to have: easy to build some quick flows that are related with a project, create a quick inspiration boards with links and images... really dope :)
I think the daily notes tasks grouping need some work, but I've heard that the team is working on that!
Highly recommended!
Had to pause and give major love to this product. There is so much this product does better on a V1 than the competition. I'm excited for what's next. Thanks for changing the notes and ideas game.
Happy New Year Product Hunters!
We spent 2021 heads down building alongside thousands of you during our beta period. Today, we're thrilled to announce the launch of Clover v1 and the Clover iOS app for both iPad and iPhone.
A lot has changed since we launched beta last July. Here are some of the highlights:
Mobile Everything
Clover is now available in the Apple App Store. We've ported all of the features from the desktop and web versions over to mobile so you can take notes, sketch, and plan your day on the go from your iOS devices.
More Organizational Tools
We've added Folders for intuitive page organization along with Labels for a more flexible organization scheme. You decide what fits your work best.
Daily Notes Upgrades
Integrate your notes with Google Calendar so you can see your events alongside your notes and tasks. Want to take notes during a meeting? A single click lets you attach a note to a calendar event.
Block Nesting + Toggle Sections
Nest blocks to create hierarchies, create toggle sections, and add subtasks.
Quick Prompt
The new Quick Prompt bar allows you to switch themes, toggle spellcheck, create pages, capture tasks with a few keystrokes. Hit Cmd-/ and you're ready to go.
UI Revamp
Clover has been completely redesigned to optimize the workflows you use most. Quick links for popular features like Daily Notes, Search, and Inbox are simpler to access. A swath of new keyboard shortcuts makes jumping around your workspace a breeze.
Quality of Life
In addition to everything above, we focused on a lot of little improvements that add up to a more delightful experience: sortable favorites, enhanced Frame capabilities, resizable images, Surface snapping, text in shapes, dashed lines, major performance improvements, markdown import and export, and Firefox support.
We're humbled by the amazing support this community has shown us and we're excited for the next phase of the product's evolution. We hope you'll check out the app and be a part of our community. Thanks so much!
Just signed up and am already blown away. I bounce back and forth from Miro and Notion and OneNote because they each do something I need, but no one tool does it all. Really, really excited to dive into this!
This tool currently runs my life. From web development projects in my day job to running my various websites on the side, studying or creating computer games for fun. Love it - only wish to be able to create my own templates or create tables/databases for budgets, goal tracking and the like.
Gets my vote (for what it's worth)
Tried literally every todo/task/productivity tool and the latest updates to Clover stuck with me and beat the others by a mile.
Work everywhere, being able to actual see and track tasks and todo all within the single place is great
I don't make use of the whiteboarding as I am about as visual as a dead hamster (sorry hamsters
Nice one all!
TLDR, If you want to KonMari your note taking, this app is for you.
Initial Impression
Trying v1 right now, been using Notion for the past year or so. I've gotten used to using Concepts which has an infinite canvas feature for drawing vector diagrams. I'm excited what's in store, so I'm testing the waters by transferring one of my documents I created yesterday in Notion and see what's possible. Lest not forget calendar integration which I really like.
Figuring out my workflow...
If you like to keep things super organized, its for you. It just wasn't for me, I'm not that meticulous. I still like the calendar feature though, but it is not enough to sway me to test it out as a daily driver. Stuff like not being able to place a basic table in (probably because it looks ugly/hard to format). I will still recommend it though.
Edit: Moved my qualms as a email to support.
Edit2: Added TLDR and final impression.
I've tried pretty much all the note-taking and task management apps and this is my favorite one so far. I especially love the daily notes, calendar integration, and whiteboarding with surfaces.
I appreciate the Clover Slack community as well for discussing feature requests and bugs
For a v.1, this is impressive. Nearly everything works and works well!
I am a committed Obsidian note-maker linked to my output as a publisher, but I needed an alternative space to work with project information and 'raw' insights which haven't made it to evergreen yet. Clover meets that need well. I use it mainly in iOS but with desktop reviewing and it is important to me that the mobile app is fully functional — Clover is. Some competitors have given mobile a low priority but the Clover devs seem to 'get' how multi platform interoperability is essential, so well done to them for that.
