Congrats on the launch! I love the domain :D
Can you detail a bit about how pricing will look in the future? Wasn't able to find it under plans.
I'd also love to hear more about what this could be an alternative to? (Figma or Bubble?)
Wishing you the best!
@esus Hi, and thanks for checking out Control!
You can create a website, connect your domain and publish it 30 times completely for FREE, but if you want more - we offer an in-app subscription with 20 projects, 50k monthly visitors and many more for only $30/mo.
There's no such tool on the internet that allows devs and designers to collaborate in a single space (that's why we are building it in the 1st place), but if I were to find the closest relative to Control I'd say that maybe it's Framer, though they're taking a bit different direction.
@ikalimullin Thanks! Great question - Cargo is a great editor though it doesn't support freehand editing and it's an essential feature of Control. While it allows for a quick website creation we allow for more customization and complexity. Same stands for Readymag - as far as Im aware they provide a simple code-free way to create websites while we focus on providing both designer and developer with a more flexible workflow.
For example, as a developer you don't need to limit yourself for a code injection in Control - you can use our Next.js SDK along with Headless API. As for a designer - instead of describing I highly recommend you to just try our Editor and Animation workflow - it's pretty much next level!
@oleg_svirskyi Hey, good question! Control is built in such a way that allows solo creatives to turn a blank page into a fully interactive website. Though it's full potential can be unleashed when used in collaboration between designers and developers.
Some silos are meant to be broken.
Two years ago, me with my friend Arsen onboarded on a journey to bring web designers and web developers together under a single app so they can enjoy creative collaboration the way we did.
So we decided to experiment and create a place where we can collaborate, create and contribute to each other process in a way thatโs frictionless, requires less management and prompts expression and creativity. An app thatโs great for designers, great for developers but most importantly for collaboration between them.
With this idea in mind we assembled a small team and about a half year ago we launched a first private beta of Control. We onboarded about 300 test users and been extremely delighted by all the great work they done in Control.
Today weโre launching our first public version! ๐ฅ
Congratulations on the Launch!
I had the chance to explore Control in its preliminary stages, and it's nothing short of amazing! The seamless integration of design, animation, and coding tools into a single browser-based application is a game-changer for both developers and designers. Keep up the fantastic work! I am looking forward to seeing more from Control in the future!
