I realized how broken executive coaching is when an investor suggested to me that I should try it. I'd already been a CEO for years and it seemed like the executive coach's job was to fix all the things I continued to do wrong. I wish I'd had someone grooming for leadership early. That's what we're shooting for with this program--make top business coaching affordable enough that you could get it early in your career. The skills you learn and the feedback you get should last your entire career.
As we've dug deeper into coaching we found two more huge problems and tried to fix those as well. The first is that there's no quality control. The second is that coaching is often divorced from day-to-day change because you meet so infrequently. We tackled both of those by re-inventing coaching for messaging formats. This coaching happens through in-app chat or email (and over other messaging platforms as they become available).
