We've use Coda at Intercom for a year or so in many many many ways, everything from our product roadmaps to our program planning, it's a powerful product that has achieved a rare feat and taken us away from Google Docs for things. Recommended.

Coda really is one of my favorite products. It changed the way I view spreadsheets, and it works the way I do as a developer. Congrats on reaching 1.0!

Update once and changes propagate to tons of places which has eliminated a ton of work for us. It's like magic. Coda is at the center of how we coordinate goals, roadmaps and people across 10+ different teams and has become a persistently open tab.

Hey Product Hunt, About a year ago, we launched the Coda beta right here on Product Hunt. We weren't sure how people would react when we claimed to have reinvented the document. But the response blew us away. Over the last year, we watched a small group of beta-testers grow to tens of thousands. People built docs for scenarios we never imaginedーwe saw a team at Uber track one of the biggest re-designs in company history, a product manager at Spotify built a system around their special "squad" model, and an outdoor school teacher built a better way to rent and repair bikes. Meanwhile, we listened and learned from the problems they wanted to solve and tried to fill the gaps. We tuned thousands of details and added features like layouts, buttons, automations and a new spin on integrations called Packs. Today it all comes together with Coda 1.0ーincluding a new mobile experience for everyone (for iPhone users, there's also an appーAndroid app coming soon). I've been saying this phrase "docs as powerful as apps" since we started the company. Some people get it right away. But usually people pull out a phone and say, "you mean apps like this?" Seems a decent app.

Cons:

Shame it decided to steal its name from another successful app by Panic. No need.

Love Coda. It's an essential part of our workflow at Akili.vc

It's great for quick access to Coda workspaces. I find it particularly useful for task management and team wikis.

Cons:

No Android.

Can't recommend Coda enough for teams or individuals wanting a doc-like experience for managing their projects. Here's my overview of today's news:

Use Notion 2.0 since beta every day. I'm been one of the first users and love it so much. What's the main difference Coda from Notion.

Love Coda it's become an essential tool in my daily use.

Wow, such massive endorsement from Intercom crew! Sadly, I didn't receive my invite last year, guess my best shot to try it early was to apply to Intercom... which I coincidentally did 🙃 I'll definitely give Coda a go for my ongoing project, taking place in Trello & Docs for the most part.

Coda is adding to their suite of tools to make editing and actions accessible everywhere, making it that much more valuable.

Pros:

Coda 1.0 for Mobile is a great way to edit and add to docs on the go!

Cons:

I would love to see document creation and iPad Pro support, but the current version is a great start.

I love this new type of browser based document apps, currently represented by Coda (my fav), Airtable und Notion. All three are excellent tools and I’m sure they will push each other to get better and better.

Pros:

This is magic – the next level in online documents and tables. The possibilities are endless and there are plenty of helpful templates.

Cons:

No big cons so far.

I haven't used Coda too much because I'm on Android/Firefox, but does anyone know how Coda compares to Notion?
