Hello ProductHunt! With COVID-19 urging everyone to stay at home, a lot of us are stuck at home and suddenly finding themselves with a lot more time. And a lot of people are using this time to pick up a new skill - like learning how to program. Whether it's for a career change, or just for fun, we know that learning programming can be daunting if you're starting from scratch. Especially with the overwhelming resources available online, it's easy to feel lost when you don't know where to start. This is why we created the Coding Starter Kit. From basic questions, such as what is front- and back-end, to which language should you start with, we designed the Coding Starter Kit as a place where complete novices can can visit and leave with a solid starting point. The page into two main sections: Coding 101, to answer basic programming related questions, and the Tutorials section, split into "Web Development", "Mobile Development", and "Data Science and Analysis". Each section is introduces good starter languages for that field with a curated list of free tutorials. Everyone has different learning methods, so we included articles, interactive tutorials, and videos for each language. We're going to expand this starter kit with more languages and resources with time, and would also appreciate any feedback!
