CodeSnippet is transforming how developers manage code. Store, organize, and discover snippets with ease. The Hub lets you share and explore community-driven snippets. Streamline your workflow and learn from others—your code, always at your fingertips.
Hey Hunters 👋
Elyesa here, creator of CodeSnippet. As developers, we constantly reuse snippets of code, yet finding the right one at the right time can be frustrating. That’s why I built CodeSnippet—to help devs **store, organize, and instantly retrieve** their most useful pieces of code.
🚀 What makes CodeSnippet different?
- 🔍 Lightning-fast search – Find any snippet instantly.
- 🌍 The Hub – Share and discover snippets from the community.
- 🏷️ Smart organization – Tag, categorize, and structure your snippets your way.
- 🌑 Beautiful UI – A clean and intuitive interface built for devs.
💡 Real-world use cases:
- Keeping a personal snippet librar for quick access.
- Sharing best practices and solutions with other developers.
- No more rewriting the same functions—save them once, use them forever.
- Speeding up your workflow with reusable code blocks.
🎯 Who’s it for?
- Developers tired of messy copy-pasting.
- Anyone who’s ever thought, “I wrote this before… but where is it?”
- Devs who want to save time and focus on building rather than searching for code.
Try it now and make your coding workflow smoother.
🤔 Got questions? I’m here all day! Let’s chat below 👇
@tleyden Thanks, Traun!
CodeSnippet is completely free, and there are no plans to introduce a paid version. The goal is to keep it open and accessible for all developers.
A VS Code extension is definitely in the plans! The idea is to make saving and retrieving snippets as seamless as possible directly from the editor.
Would love to hear your thoughts what would make it most useful for you?
@spectrenard Ok nice! On the FAQ it mentions there is a generous free tier, which made me think there is also a paid tier.
Here are my thoughts after trying it (aside from vs code ext):
1. It would be helpful to have an easy to remember domain name so I don't have to bookmark it
2. It would be nice if the code dialog window were much bigger. It seems very cramped.
3. For selecting a category, I would hide that into an "Advanced" section and make it optional. Also, an AI could probably auto-select a category
But overall, it's really cool! I've wanted something like this for a long time!
@tleyden Thanks for the feedback, really appreciate it! 🙌
A better domain is definitely something to consider!
Actually, we just added a feature to expand the code window! You can now view snippets in a much bigger space. Let me know what you think!
Great idea! Making categories optional and adding AI suggestions could be a nice improvement.
Glad you're enjoying CodeSnippet!
