Hey this is Ambrose - I've made My Orator for the busy professional who needs to catch up on their reading list.

There are no recommendations or distractions so that you can focus on what you wanted to listen to.

This is the easiest way to convert text to audio and have it available on all devices.

Thanks so much Justin for hunting this for me! Hello Product Hunters, I'm very happy and honored to share my personal side project (which I began earlier in 2017) with everyone here. I did this more to get a feel of what it's like to make my own web app and market it myself. I've received useful suggestions/feedback from Justin's MegaMaker community, which I highly recommend. Now before you rip on me saying that this is the same as Narro.co (or Play.ht), let me highlight some unique features. - You can tag your articles and get the feed for the playlist with tag XYZ. - You can play your articles on Amazon Alexa (by track title or by tag name) - You can share your articles by tag - here are 3 of my favorite articles by Justin that really helped with my mindset: https://orator.azurewebsites.net... This is my first SaaS, so there will probably be issues and the UI is not as good looking as the other stuff here, but it works. Please bear with me, I'm just a team of 1! Would love to hear any feedback esp. with the Alexa Skill

@ninoskopac haha thanks a lot! I upvoted Read2Me (https://www.producthunt.com/post...) before I added a comment on your page. I really like your UI, I hope that I'll reach that level some day, but in the meantime, I'm going to work on my marketing.

@efficienthacks Marketing is a good thing to work on, but are you sure you want to be spending a lot of time on this? What do you think will make people use Orator instead of other solutions? Does your product have any features that the already existing solutions don't have? Pocket integration? Both https://www.producthunt.com/post... and https://www.producthunt.com/post... have it. MP3 download? https://www.producthunt.com/post... has it.

@ninoskopac You make a good point about having differentiating features Here are features (that I and others felt were useful) that I don't think any service have (yet) - You can tag your articles and get the feed for the playlist with tag XYZ. - You can play your articles on Amazon Alexa (by track title or by tag name) - You can share your article list by tag - here are 3 of my favorite articles by Justin that really helped with my mindset: https://orator.azurewebsites.net... I was actually looking out for what feature to add next by looking through comments on public forums (which is included in my 'Marketing' activities)
