This marks our move from the original bitcoin wallet design, with the focus on transaction history, to a more "brokerage" design, focused on investing in digital assets like bitcoin and ethereum, is a reflection of how customers have actually been using the product. As part of this launch we redesigned the application and introduced new dashboard for users which makes it easier to check latest prices for both bitcoin and ethereum, and also following your portfolio's development. We also redesigned trading flow to account for more assets and make it much faster and intuitive for users. Coinbase is there to get you started; it's easy to use and understand what you're doing. The transactions feel safe enough, and it protects you from buying too much at once. It genuinely seems like they take care of their users, especially new ones.

Cons:

Victim of its own popularity, it is sometimes difficult to access. You'll only find "mainstream" cryptos there.

Limited by countries which is really bad, no use overseas

I have been waiting for a week now for my funds to become available on coinbase and they still are not. Plus, I have had zero feedback from the support team for a week now. Do not put your money here. Seriously.

Hey, this may seem like a small detail, but Coinbase is a place to buy and sell Ether, since that's the protocol token of Ethereum. I find the detail important so newcomers understand the correct terminology. Solid work otherwise!

How can I see the ETH amount purchased inside this app (btw I love it) in same time in my official Ethereum Wallet (OSX)?

@iam_preethi @jorilallo-- this is a much needed platform-- one question; is there any way for people in India to transact? I know at least 3 friends who want to buy but simply can't.. Do you have an alternate route for countries where this product is not supported? Would be extremely helpful!

Use daily to check prices of cryptocurrencies. Like the interface and easy to see wallets. New vault feature is great.
