Looks great ! I know it's intended to replace forms, but for us to use it, it would need to replace our current live-chat service. Do you have any plan to add a live chat capability to collect.chat?

@pbriod Hey Pascal, Glad you liked the product :) We have a plan to add switching to live chat on user request feature. For time being you can use our widget on left side or right center (It's configurable in our dashboard) and see if that makes any impact. (We have few customers doing this RN) Please let me know if you have any further suggestions or need clarification on this.

@mwtbrowser Hey Adam, One of the main use case of collect.chat is lead/order collection. Travel domain was the first domain we tested collect.chat. Most of the sites have seen more than 200% increase in their orders. http://yatramantra.com/ / https://www.alleppeyhouseboatclu... are few travel websites where we tested collect.chat initially. We are in talks with few hotel chains as well. Hope they will implement it soon. Let me know your thoughts :)

Love chatbot that don't live inside fb messenger or slack as the "regular" average customers is still not familiar with special chats like slack (only really popular in the dev/startup community). Good concept to go where the actual customer will be able to use...

@jrmarciniak Thank you, Marciniak!! Totally agree with your point. Sending a website visitor to Messenger or any chat platform just to chat is a broken experience from a user point of view (Which most of the chatbot products do). This was one among inspirations that lead building this product.

Seems like a super cool way to replace Typeform to collect data. Congrats on the hunt @shyjal! A question: is it suitable for having actual (non-bot ) conversations with site visitors or it's just to collect their data? For example: use bot to collect some info, and then ping an actual support agent to join the conversation. Also: would love to learn more about your Zapier triggers and actions. Cheers!

I usually don't go into test mode unless I'm clear about the pricing...but this looks impressive. Great user interface for production and customer. and the zapier integration is key here. If the pricing is right I can see myself using Collect.Chat a lot!

Hey now. Why you gon do this invention when just aweekago I had a similar idrizzle and added it to my rollydexy of prodrizzle idrizzles?? Did you telepathically hijack the idea from me? If so, impressive. If not, impressive either way :-D Jokes aside, I think it's really clever. Interaction and guided processes are the way of the future. They feel more personal and less aggressive. I can see this as a great alternative to the traditional checkout process. In fact, it might just reinvent it entirely. I'm just wondering.. are you considering to have it integrate with something like Stripe? The demo gif is kind of how I see myself using it. For sales or leads. Another question, is there a possibility to insert yourself live into such an interaction and take it over from the chatbot to communicate with the user right there on the spot? Epic product man!

I have a landing page MVP for another startup idea that I'm definitely going to try this with. Far better than asking people to enter their e-mail after clicking on a price. It would be really cool if you incorporated Textbox (https://machinebox.io/docs/textbox) to get a machine learning powered experience faster and really understand the responses you get back.

@prashant2331 Hey Prashant, Bots created using collect.chat will not be intelligent ( No AI, No NLP ), this is to maintain the predictability. You decide what to ask your website visitor and visitor interacts with bot using custom input elements, Pretty straight forward. About decision tree, currently we support only unidirectional flow. We have decision tree based flow on our product road map. Let me know if you have any further queries or suggestions.

I am using collect chat premium version for around 6 month. Really happy with tool.

I just feel UX need to improve before it reach to mass audience.

Pros:

Amazing Lead Gen Tool.

Cons:

Product need to be develop more.
