Hey everyone π
A while back I had a few people reach out and ask if they could get an outlined version of my illustrations after I shared them on Instagram & Twitter because they wanted to color them in.
I thought that was a pretty great idea, and found it pretty rewarding watching people having fun with my art.
It was super fun seeing the creativity in how they were coloring them in.
So my idea for Colorables was to create a resource full of free printable coloring pages where you can re-connect with your inner child and have a fun, positive, creative, and relaxing escape from the craziness of our normal day to day lives... Or you can use them to connect with your children if you have any π
I'm launching Colorables today with 4 free coloring pages (with more coming soon).
They're all free to download (no email is required to download btw), and each one is available in US Letter 8.5" x 11" and A4 8.3" x 11.7" sizes, so they're printable from the majority of at home printers π
I'd love to hear what you think! Ideas & feedback are always welcome πππ
Happy coloring!

@mackenziechild
Thanks for the pages! You should encourage digital coloring, such as the iPad Pro with an Apple Pencil. Love the pages, downloaded all four and will be coloring them (digitally) with inner-child delight. Thank you! Please provide a combo download as a PDF! :)
@mackenziechild I use NoteShelf (5.2.6) right now, but I also have Sketches, SketchBook, Adobe Sketch, and Procreate. I use color pages like yours to learn how to use the later tools. I relax and color with Noteshelf.
Yep, I can agree, that they are pretty neat, and can be really enjoyable for the kids. You can take a look at those pretty nice winged unicorn coloring pages to understand how cool your applications can be, and maybe to have some more variations for your coloring stuff. Kids truly love to color that pages, and more characters you have their - more funny it would be for them.
These are sinister and evil bent, reflects the mind of their maker. I am sorry to be so blunt but truth hurts. AVOID unless it be to your detriment and that of society.
@tahaqadri Hehe thanks man! I used Droplr for the file hosting / download. I purchased the domain colorables.link and was able to setup a custom domain for Droplr π
Hi There, This is really an awesome idea! most days this week I have tried to find and print colourable pages to bring home and colour with my kids together, they make requests "Forky, slinky etc." Most of the sites that do this are full of spammy download links, dont provide a full page printable image, or it has loads of garbage on it,
I will deffinitely be checking them out now and printing some today,
I know its your Art of course firstly but some that are very simple would be great for the smaller kids?
Best of luck, and great Idea!!!!! hit me up on twitter@carolmckeon140 if you want any feedback on site or anything happy to help (I have 3 boys at home )
Carol
Thanks so much for the feedback Carol π€ I realized that when I was doing research for this project, that most are pretty spammy... So that's something I absolutely wanted to do the opposite of :)
That's interesting idea to create smaller / simpler colorables π€I'll give that some thought and see if can incorporate that somehow.
I'd love to see pics if you or your kids color any of them ππ
Happy to see you launch again, Mackenzie!
Started following you a couple of years back with your design-to-code youtube series.
