Excited to check this out @nugmanoff - this year I really want to read more and do more exercise and it looks like Commit will really help with that!
Aidar Nugmanoff
@kylerjphillips Hey Kyler! That's exactly the kind of words that keeps us going! Thank you for sharing. Let's stay committed together in 2023🟩🚀

I love the fact that this app shows progress in such a visually beautiful way. It wants to make me keep up the good habits. Congrats on the launch! I've reached out to you on Twitter. :)
Aidar Nugmanoff
@piotr_pawlowski Hey Piotr, thanks so much! Happy to connect, I pinged you back :)

Hello, hunters! It’s Aidar and Beknar (@beknar) greeting you! Happy new year! 🎉 Ever felt bad after breaking the streak? That’s not your fault, it is just habit tracker apps sometimes put too much pressure on us. We have been there, that’s why we created Commit 🟩, a habit tracker that prioritizes consistency over streaks. **🎄 NEW YEAR SPECIAL ** It’s time to plan your habits for the New Year. Do you have New Year’s resolutions in mind and you want to keep yourself accountable? Create a list of habits, receive a resolution card share it with friends on social networks! 🧩 Habit name and regularity, that’s all that you need to start committing. 📊 No pie-charts. No notifications. No preludes. 📱 Visualize your progress. Beautifully-designed grid keeps you aligned with your consistency, not just streaks. 🚀 We believe that skipping is inevitable, not because you are lazy, but because life happens. What matters is whether you keep going. ⏳ Control your history. Toggling completion of the given habit is allowed both for the current day and the days in the past. 💚 Feelings over figures. We believe that stats, dates, reminders are not important. What important is how you feel, that's why app doesn’t throw at you all that details. 📅 Calendar View. For those who feels more comfortable seeing the picture spread across the months and dates. We provide the feature to reveal just what's needed to be shown in the form of calendar view. 🌐 Offline. You don’t need an Internet connection to use the app. 🔒 Privacy. You don’t need an account to use the app. The data is stored on your phone. ✨ Clean and snappy, that’s how our app feels. 🔜 Next on our list: 🔮 Widgets that keep you aligned with the big picture – by showing you recaps of last week, month, quarter. ⌚️ Apple Watch app to help you stay committed without distracting yourself with the phone. ❓ We’re so excited to launch and would love to hear your feedback along the way! Feel free to reach out to us at twitter.com/trycommit Let’s stay committed together 💚 – Aidar Co-founder @ Commit

Absolutely loving such innovative products for habit building. This looks super cool. Congratulations on the launch @nugmanoff.
Aidar Nugmanoff
@mjain_mayank Thank you so much for your support!🙏
Cristina Bunea
I was just thinking about needing something like this the other day. Duolingo and Product Hunt's mobile widgets work so well for me so can't wait to try this out. Congrats on the launch!
Aidar Nugmanoff
@cristinaibunea Looks like the universe want you to stay committed and succeed in this year, Cristina! Thank you for your support and keep your on eye on our updates we are planning to release some widgets soon as well🙏

I love the UI not a fan of the subscription model. Obviously, most things come down to split testing, but one thought would be to offer it the ability to unlock features or freemium. A downside to doing a monthly subscription on something like this would be the burn rate once people stop tracking or if they forget for a while and see the subscription, it might be the first to go.
Aidar Nugmanoff
@julio_medina Hello, Julio! Happy to hear that you are loving the product. We really feel you with this one. And we would really love to make the app available to more users and to still pay able to pay our bills to keep things going, because we are small team of 2 indie developers. At the moment we are considering more flexible pricing, ppp and forever-free-for-limited-usage (a.k.a freemium) models. Hopefully we will roll out some changes in the next few days.
Julio Medina
It would be cool to choose an alternative to the 2023 Resolutions at the top for sharing goals like maybe just My Goals or Habits etc
Aidar Nugmanoff
@julio_medina Hey, Julio! Either @beknar is leaking you our backlog or you can read the future, because it is exactly what we are planning to add next to our app – more flexible sharing options 🚀 Keep your eye on the updates🙏
Julio Medina
@nugmanoff haha! No leaks! Will keep my eyes peeled. Keep up the good work and congrats on the traction!

Hey, Aidar! Congrats on the launch. I just installed the app, and I loved the onboarding. The UX and UI are spot-on. I can already see Commit helping many folks start a positive habit. I'm sharing this with my circle too :)
Aidar Nugmanoff
@kaushik_vikram_balaji Hey hey! Super stoked to hear that you are loving it. Thank you so much for your support, it really does keep things going and it means a ton to us🙏
Kirill Rozhkovskiy
Hey guys, congrats on the launch! A properly set up habit is a key to one's progress :) thanks for your app!
Aidar Nugmanoff
@mujaji Thanks, Kirill! Definitely it is!
Karan Soni
Amazing Idea! Congratulations on launch!! Just had one question, are you guys going to launch it for android also?
Aidar Nugmanoff
@ks1072002 We are planning to polish the iOS part first :)
Michael
Best habbit tracker I've seen yet. Love the concept that the tiles shine brighter the more habbits you followed up on. 5$ per month 30$ per year without free tier (30 commits is nothing) seems to expensive though.
Aidar Nugmanoff
@michael19 Thanks for the kind words! Sounds fair. To be honest, it is our first ever SaaS launch. So we are just experimenting with the pricing. We have few options we are considering right now (1 habit free-forever, lower prices overall, more free commits & etc) – so the prices are not fixed in stone definitely! If you don't mind sharing, I'd love to know what would be the fair pricing according to you🙏
Michael
@nugmanoff I would pay 29€ as a one time fee and 12€ on a yearly basis. You may want to check out the discussion in the "Super Habit 2023 for iOS" launch. Kevin Quisquatar shared some insights about his experience with habit tracker pricing there.
Aidar Nugmanoff
@michael19 Wow, thanks for noting it Michael! That's some deep & thoughtful discussion that you and Kevin had there. It was very insightful to read it. You actually did "break the ice" and now we are actively considering more flexible pricing and alternative models – we soft rolled out one of them already, hopefully we will roll out some more experiments in the upcoming days. Thanks for your feedback once again, it means a lot to us!
Aidar Nugmanoff
@michael19 hey Michael! reaching out back to you to let you know that we have decided to change our pricing, maybe you will find it interesting, more: https://twitter.com/trycommit/st...

There is always space in productivity tools. You proved it. Great design. Looking for an Android version.
Aidar Nugmanoff
@nimishpatel19 To be honest, we didn't really believed that there is a space for "yet another habit-tracker", but it turns out there is some. Thank you so much for your support! We are focusing more on iOS at the moment, but we'll see where the traction gets us – who knows, maybe we will roll out the Android version if things work out 😁

i can’t believe this app is free. it’s beautiful, easy to use and has no bullcrap functionalities. i love the pressing button functionality in order to commit to a habit, it feels grounding. also love the philology of consistency rather than streaking. thank you so much for this product, i’ve been looking for something like this for ages!
Aidar Nugmanoff
@hificarolina Hey Carolina! Let me be honest and deliver this to you from the first hand – this app is free only for limited usage (first 30 habit completions i.e. 30 free commits). Although up to this moment the only option to proceed after you reach the limit was to buy the subscription, we are preparing to roll out the update to be able to use the app for free forever but on the limited basis (e.g. track limited amount of commits). I am so sorry, if this disappoint you in any way. We really appreciate your support, and it means a lot to us that you are enjoying all the little details that you put into it. We are small team of 2 indie developers and in order to keep the development going and to still pay our bills we need to monetize the app. Hope that you stay committed to your goals in the 2023 whether you decide to stick with the app or not🙏🚀
carolina gonçalves
@nugmanoff hello aidar! i recognize the need to make an app financially viable, do not worry. do you know how much the subscription will be?
Aidar Nugmanoff
@hificarolina I am not sure what exact numbers are because Apple does calibrate it depending on your country – you can download the app and check it out for yourself!
carolina gonçalves
@nugmanoff just did, it’s a bit out of my budget. do you offer student discounts?
Aidar Nugmanoff
@hificarolina Hey Carolina! reaching back to you to let you know, that we are planning to make changes to our pricing, maybe you would find it interesting – https://twitter.com/trycommit/st...

Loved your tagline - 'Build habits that last, not streaks that fade'. This is a wonderful idea by the way, I can see a success with this as this app has a unique way of explaining what it does. From a marketing perspective this is awesome. Let me try this app out and get back with my feedback
Riad Asllani
Started to use the app directly, it is really cool! I believe the simple design will help a lot, will be here in one month with updates on usage!
Beknar
Hey, hunters! It’s Beknar, co-founder of Commit. Streaks can be a helpful way to motivate yourself, but they can also have negative effects. Instead of wanting to learn or do something because you enjoy it, you might start wanting to do it just to keep your streak going. Some apps even make you pay money if you miss a day and want to keep your streak. Our app is designed to help you let go of this way of thinking. Thank you! 💚
Aisultan Kassenov
Tried once and thinking about moving from “Repeat” app to this one, as the concept looks interesting and promising 👍
Beknar
@aisultan_kassenov thanks, Aisultan! Glad you liked it!
I get an immeasurable amount of pleasure from using this app. Functionality and experience was made on highest level of quality, especially Onboarding. I wanna add 10 more habits just to get that "Bzzzzz" commit animation. ITS FIRE!
Beknar
@torykips @sayat_orazkulov Details were important for us :) Thank you guys!
Ruslan
I downloaded a bunch of habit-tracking apps to test them out before New Year's. COMMIT seemed the most intuitive and straightforward
Beknar
@yerganatov Thank you, Ruslan! Glad you like it!
Richard Gao
Just in time for new years resolutions! Congrats on the launch!
Aidar Nugmanoff
@richard_gao2 Thank you! We hope that you will be able to stay committed to your resolution in the New Year!
