Doesn't this put too much emphasis in something that is almost secondary to the development process? As in "lines of code" approach to developer productivity?

@ugo_alves good point. I built this because employers kept asking me for a log of what I did each month. I'm not very good at manually tracking that stuff or recalling it after the fact, but I do write reasonably descriptive commit messages. CommitSheet just takes your commits messages across a date range and includes them in your timesheet. You can also add a generic comment to cover work that doesn't appear in git (such as meetings, planning, research etc).
