Hey Product Hunt! ✌️
I’m Abhilash Chowdhary, one of makers of CompanyGPT.
Our mission is simple - let people build lists and enrich company data as easily as possible -- with the freshest, most accurate data possible.

Why did we build this?
We realized that more and more companies and investment firms are turning to LinkedIn data for sales, GTM, marketing, and deal sourcing.
However, the premium tools that LinkedIn offers aren't conducive to the actual use cases for 99% of firms. How do you enrich 10,000 companies every month? How do you match company URLs to enrich with LinkedIn data on a live basis? It's not possible.
That's why we built Crustdata. To solve these problems. To make using valuable data as accessible and easy-to-use as possible.
How did we go about this?
We built dedicated data pipelines to pull in data directly from primary sources i.e. company website, LinkedIn and news portals.
Who are we?
At CompanyGPT we are a team of dedicated engineers with big tech and startup experience that have developed deep expertise in data.
Who is it for and how does CompanyGPT help?
1. Sales & marketing enablement platforms (e.g. AI SDRs): powering platform with live company data for their customers
2. VCs and PE Investors : thematic deal sourcing
3. Sales and growth teams: lead identification, monitoring, and enrichment
@abhilash_chowdhary@manmohit CompanyGPT 2.0 seems like an invaluable tool for sales professionals to boost their sales pipeline. Congrats Manmohit and Abhilash. :)
@devindsgbyq Thanks a lot for the support.
We have built resilient data pipelines which index the data directly from the sources like LinkedIn.
We cover all the Industries in general. And in case you don't see a company in the search results, it would be automatically indexed in a couple of hours by our real-time data pipelines.
I used up my free search credits and I'm interested in getting more since I was just trying things out. It appears that you haven't reviewed the price list yet, and I want to make it clear that I am unwilling to pay more than $5 for 20 searches.
I'm doing prospecting and outbound marketing a lot on a daily basis, and although LinkedIn search/apollo are reliable and good, sometimes I need a faster way to find companies within our criteria. Love the conversational approach to prospecting... I'll def check it out for my projects. Congrats on the launch @abhilash_chowdhary 🤠
Thank you for the support @ali_eskandari! I'm sure our platform provides a fast, conversational approach to finding companies that meet your specific criteria. Give it a try and see how it can speed up your daily outbound efforts!
Wow man! It's super powerful. Makers will appreciate this cause it's a huge game changer. Did you think on giving access through an API? It can be even more useful for ninja-preneurs 😅 like me
Thank you for trying it out @german_merlo1! Oh yes we do provide an API service for the above! Please contact us if you're interested in trying it out :)
Thanks a ton @nareshmeetei! We're all about saving time for folks like you. Hope you enjoy giving it a spin! Let me know how it goes - always eager for feedback. Cheers!
Using this already second version CompanyGPT is like having a spy gadget for business espionage! It doesn’t just give you basic info; it dives deep with LinkedIn-enriched profiles, real-time updates on company growth, financial health, and even sneaks into market trends. Want to know who’s climbing the corporate ladder? Done. Curious about a company’s latest hires? Easy. It’s like being in a corporate spy movie, where every data point is at your fingertips. With this tool, you’re basically a business superhero!
Congrats on the launch! This is a really valuable tool for sales people out there. Just today I talked with a guy who told me about how important it is. And the best part is it's highly automated. Upvoted!
Hey Abhilash! CompanyGPT looks pretty slick - I'm digging the fresh approach to company data enrichment. 👌
The mission to make LinkedIn data more accessible and usable at scale is definitely needed. As someone who's wrestled with similar challenges, I can appreciate the pain points you're addressing.
A few thoughts/suggestions:
- It might be helpful to show some concrete examples of the data quality/freshness compared to competitors. Maybe a side-by-side comparison?
- Have you considered adding any AI-powered insights or recommendations based on the enriched data? Could be a nice differentiator.
- The UI looks clean, but I wonder if there are opportunities to make it even more intuitive for non-technical users.
Overall though, solid product! As they say, data is the new oil - you're basically building a next-gen refinery. 😄 Looking forward to seeing how CompanyGPT evolves. Keep up the great work!
Hi @nikhilpareek - thank you for your thoughtful suggestions.
-we are working on comparison pages now!
-yes, we would like to build an analytics layer on top of the data. still working on ensuring the most reliable, fresh data first
-interesting point re: UI. if you have any suggestions, please do let us know.
Really appreciate it!
Automation Consultant for VC's here.
This data is what every analyst would've love to have.
I'm constantly impressed with their dataset, they are underdogs but have some of the BEST data for:
- Data Driven VC strategies
- Signal based prospecting
- Signal based recruitment
- Company researching!
I have my bets on their success so they esentially release a lower-ticket offer for the rest of automation geeks!
In my automation agency not only do we suggest it to our clients, but use it ourselves for experiments.
Congrats guys 🙌 Are there plans to expand the data sources beyond LinkedIn and company websites, perhaps integrating with social media or industry-specific databases?
Hi @tea_sakic1 - thanks for your support and good question! We do have social spend, product review data, CEO approval rating, funding data, job postings, etc. And we plan on adding more data sources beyond the above.
This sounds really interesting, Abhilash! I’ve seen a growing reliance on LinkedIn data for various operations, but the challenges you mentioned definitely resonate with me. I'm particularly curious about how your dedicated data pipelines actually work. How do you ensure that the data remains accurate and up-to-date every 14 days?
Also, could you elaborate a bit more on the specific features that make it easier for VCs and sales teams to leverage this data effectively? Are there any particular use cases or success stories you can share that demonstrate the value CompanyGPT brings to users? It would be awesome to gain more insights into how this can enhance the sales and marketing strategies for your potential users. Looking forward to learning more!
Hi Bryan @dance17219 - thank you! Yes, we've seen a torrent of firms switching from legacy data platforms to LinkedIn simply because LinkedIn is the most accurate, freshest, most comprehensive platform. We worked on technology for over a year to make sure that the pipelines fresh the data every 14 - 28 days. We're keeping the specifics proprietary, but high-level the engineering involves reverse engineering a web-browser.
As far as the features that make this easier for VCs and Sales teams, they are mostly around the robustness, latency, and reliability of our APIs - since that is how the majority of our customers use us. We hyper focus on making the data as easy to use as possible. As long as they get the data they want, in the way they want it, our customers are pretty happy. For the web app users, the ability to type in via free text exactly what's on their mind is huge for them. No fiddling with restrictive filters. Hope this answers your questions - appreciate the thoughtful questions!
Chris
Hi André @sentry_co - we are getting our QoQ data either directly from LinkedIn Insights page or calculating it ourselves via monthly headcount numbers. We also have QoQ for web traffic and job postings growth (or decline). Thanks for your question!
