Conjuga — Learn French verbs, pronunciation, with a multi-choice quiz

Like any other language, we start conjugation with auxiliary verbs; in French, we have two auxiliary verbs: ( être ) and ( avoir ). Mastering those two verbs can easily make french conjugation fun for you; you'll be comfortable conjugating any french verb in any tense and mood. While learning French verbs from printed books or online articles is still valid, the most challenging is understanding when speaking with or listening to someone in french. Let's see an example of the verb Jouer = to play: ils jouent = they play which is pronounced [ il ʒu ]. As you noticed, there are four unpronounced characters, [s and ent]; (s) to denote the plural form of the third-person, and (ent) that signify the affix of the present tense of the third-person.
