Conjuga is a french conjugation app with more than 1500 french and English verbs indexed. The fast and powerful search engine, a well-structured conjugation table, and human-like voice pronunciation can help you sound like a native.
Like any other language, we start conjugation with auxiliary verbs; in French, we have two auxiliary verbs: ( être ) and ( avoir ).
Mastering those two verbs can easily make french conjugation fun for you; you'll be comfortable conjugating any french verb in any tense and mood.
While learning French verbs from printed books or online articles is still valid, the most challenging is understanding when speaking with or listening to someone in french.
Mostly this is due to the lack of pronunciation; being able to pronounce these little fragments of words can significantly improve your french language learning journey.
Let's see an example of the verb Jouer = to play:
ils jouent = they play
which is pronounced [ il ʒu ].
As you noticed, there are four unpronounced characters, [s and ent]; (s) to denote the plural form of the third-person, and (ent) that signify the affix of the present tense of the third-person.
For that reason, learning pronunciation doesn't have to be separate; in school, we learn pronunciation as we learn conjugation, so they go together.
That is the reason I built Conjuga an iOS app to help you learn french conjugation with voice pronunciation and a review system to practice and master the verbs that matter to you, Conjuga features over one thousand and five hundred verbs with the 25 common french verbs listed on the home page; where you can start learning the essential verbs.
You also have access to the review system, where you can exercise a multi-choice quiz and set a reminder to refresh your memory daily or weekly.
You can also save your favorite verbs for quick access and track your progress across all your devices, including the Apple Watch and iPad.
