I have been extensively working on this platform since 2012. It started as an overhaul of my old chat platform for my writing business. Being able to answer your client's question live, doubles your sales.
We tried various technologies since 2009, starting with PHP and CoffeeScript. It was all a bottlenecking nonsence, we needed a flawlessly working system to be the machine gun for messages and requests.
In 2014 we mastered Erlang, developed our own binary translation library based on ASN.1 protocol. Today each b2b client setup can handle up to 50'000 simultaneous connections on a 16GB vps instance.
By now the Connect Platform runs on Erlang with native Swift/NDK apps. We also have a web version that is fully compatible with most browsers.
Each business client gets a fully-featured digital communication platform, branded with their logo and colors, with a dedicated server infrastructure and mobile apps that are published to the App Store and PlayMarket.
By 2016 we made a number of NDA projects, then I figured I could make it a distributable white-label messenger platform to be sold publicly.
Altogether it took about $4M to get it to the current stage of development. I didn't know much about venture funding at the time, so I used my own funds, then eventually sold my business to get the Connect to a working Adam-code structure. We take the Adam-code and clone it with customizations.
I now own 100% of the company, investors are welcome at this time.
With COVID moving the world into the work-from-home mode makes Connect a vital solution for any organization.
The Connect Platform is based on a new concept: be reachable via your own app.
I am in need of approx $100'000 to get the sales started. R&D costs are insane, I am under the water and it is difficult to run a company on my own.
I will appreciate financial input at this stage. Connect is pretty much ready to sky-rocket: I need a sales team and app managers to add and publish apps.
Our team of developers has created a deploy factory to fast-snap servers for our business clients, and all apps are designed using a template.
