The ConnectyCube Chat Widget is a ready-to-use messaging solution that lets you easily add real-time chat to your website or app. It enables instant communication, user engagement, and seamless integration without complex development.
We just launched the ConnectyCube Chat Widget – a simple way to add real-time messaging to your website or app!
We built this to help developers integrate chat quickly, without the hassle of complex setup. If you need live support, team collaboration, or a community chat - this widget has you covered.
We’d love to hear your thoughts! What features would you like to see? Have any questions? Drop them in the comments! 👇
Looks great! Is it possible to customize the widget locally (e.g. changing colors to match the design of the main app)? Or is such a feature planned in the future?
It provides numerous props for custom styles for chat portal and different buttons. It's planned to provide even more liberty in what could be customised. Stay tuned!
@lena_m1 Indeed you could. It perfectly fits the Marketplace use case where buyers contact sellers via chat widget like this. This is one of the use cases we have covered in place
Absolutely in love with this chat widget! This is gonna be the most comprehensive chat widget solution down the road with a super set of features available.
Truly innovative, really impressed with the engineering behind this chat widget! The real-time messaging via WebSockets, combined with a modular React/TypeScript/Vite architecture, Tailwind/Shadcn UI design which makes it both scalable and maintainable. It's clear that performance and developer experience were top priorities.
This looks like a great solution, and I’d love to try it for my future project. I really like the idea of integrating chat without complex development - it would save me a lot of time.
I just tried out the ConnectyCube Chat Widget, and I’ve got to say—it’s a game-changer for adding real-time chat to your app or website. Super easy to set up, which is a huge plus for anyone who doesn’t want to spend hours coding from scratch. The real-time messaging works like a charm thanks to WebSockets, and the React/TypeScript setup with Tailwind makes it feel modern and snappy. I love how it’s scalable—perfect for small projects or bigger community chats.
Customization seems pretty flexible too; I could see tweaking the colors or layout to match my app’s vibe without much hassle. The free option is a great way to test it out, and it’s clear the team (shoutout to Yuliia and Garry!) put a lot of thought into making it developer-friendly. My only ask would be more built-in themes out of the box, but that’s minor. If you need a quick, reliable chat solution, this widget’s worth a look—definitely impressed!
I'm a Full Stack Developer exploring ConnectyCube Chat Widget for potential integration. I have a few key questions to better understand its capabilities:
Can the chat widget’s appearance be customized to match the website or app design?
How does user authentication work in the widget?
Does the widget support multimedia messages (images, videos, files)?
What anti-spam and bot protection mechanisms are in place?
Is there an option to integrate the widget with CRM or other third-party services?

Interesting widget. May I embed the widget in another service (e.g. a marketplace)?

Love it!
Can the color scheme be customized accordingly to the website/app pallet?
@tania_pelykh Right, 3 options available at the moment:
custom css styles for chat button which opens/close widget
custom css styles for Widget view itself
custom css styles badges
Either plain css styles or Tailwind classes could be provided, where you could pass your preferable color scheme
It's fantastic news!
Could you elaborate on its customization options for different industries or project needs?
@leon_lemon There are different recipes for different use case, e.g.
marketplace chat widget (split view mode)
support chat widget (single view mode)
guest book widget, with web site online users tab
Cheek it out by following the link https://developers.connectycube.com/js/chat-widget/#recipes and we are looking forward to add much more soon

What sets this chat widget apart from other similar solutions in the market?
What advice would you offer developers looking to integrate this widget seamlessly into their projects?
Greate Job!
Found this useful. Great job!
Are you going to add something similar for use on mobile platforms in the future, at least for React Native?
