Coolors — Super fast color schemes generator for cool designers

Just sent this to my wife (who often complains about the number of links I send her) and got an "Oh cool!"

I can't get this working in safari, it just loads the intro and won't skip or show the palette picker. works in chrome + ff no problem.

Very easy and beautiful way to create a color palette.

Very clever tool, highly recommended 😎🎉

Pros:

A few annoying pop-ups

Works great but is there a system to add more than 5 colors? Maybe support for tint/shades? Can we choose how the generation works – by a certain rule like Complementary or Triadic? Also one major pet peeve, I can’t seem to login from your iOS app after having saved a few palettes from your web app. Bummer.

Amazingly thoughtful experience - it mixes what humans do best (judging candidates and setting subjective constraints) with with machines do best (generating candidates in a large search space).

I was messing around with a variety of these services for years. Coolors beat them all, simply because it lets me fix certain colours and then get the rest done. Would appreciate a possibility to say: this shade but lighter for specific colours, but that’s nitpicking. This makes something that’s absolutely maddening (for me) a whole lot easier. Settling on a look for my websites and blogs is always the hardest part for me. The copy is written in a flash.

Definitely love this. I am color challenged, not color blind, but certainly challenged. So something that makes color picking easier..you have my vote :).

Great product! I would love to see a right click and copy color scheme to clipboard in maybe in json like this { "color1": "#ffffff", "color2": "#232323", "color3":"#eeeee" } Still awesome tho :)

The king of colours. I've used coolers for SO many projects and it's undoubtedly the best tool our there.

Just added a highly requested functionality. Now you can apply filters to test how color blind people see your color scheme. 🙂

This has got to be the easiet way to experiment with color schemes.

Love this tool! My favorite part is being able to save color palettes then access them from the Chrome extension - so handy! Coolors team, it would be helpful if I didn't have to re-login to the Coolors Chrome extension so frequently. Every other extension I have holds my logins (unless I delete cookies, etc... in my browser). Coolors I have to re-login every time I close and re-open open Chrome.

I can't explain how beneficial this tool has been to a non graphic designer. I love how you can share your palette with others and the PDF export has all the information you would need.

Coolors might be the best combination of whimsy and usefulness I've ever experienced. I've loved it for several months now.

Would like to be able to sign in and access my saved palettes from the web. Did I miss it?

Incredibly intuitive and useful. Bonus points for the subtle yet fascinating Rube-Goldberg-esque design elements - I'm finding myself selecting random colors, just to enjoy the unexpected visual chain-reaction that follows with each space bar click!

Colour generation is random and you can't really choose a theme so it can take some searching before coming across the right palette
