Have been using Copilot for a few months now and really impressed with the team's approach and product improvements. Now just waiting for the Android app!
Congrats Andres, Gabriel on the launch! Copilot has been the only personal finance app that I've used on a daily basis and it's been amazing watching the team ship so much high quality product so quickly...
Copilot is definitely one of the best takes at budget and money management. I love the budget auto-rebalance feature.
Love the color indicators, it’s quite easy to understand when you’re approaching your budget limits.
Transaction categorization could be improved to be smarter, I feel like there’s still a lot of manual classification that needs to be done.
Recurrent transactions are helpful, but are hard to manager. For example, if my rent goes up I want to be able to change the $ amount from a specific date forward, and not whole history of past rent payout transactions.
All in all, a great product and I’m excited to see where it’s headed 🙂
I’ve been through a lot of budget apps and none ever stuck for me. I’ve been using copilot for a few weeks now and it’s been amazing.
The thoughtful design and usefulness of the information presented really makes sticking to your budget as easy as possible.
I’d definitely recommend Copilot to anyone trying to get a handle on their finances.
The only fintech product for which I'm a dependable DAU. It's made me a better steward of my money and I've had fun in the process. Worth the nominal subscription fee.
Ben
I’ve been using Copilot for a few months now and really like it. Transactions show up very quickly and are easy to recategorize/ignore.
The app looks really great and has some very helpful features like showing upcoming subscription charges and how I’m tracking against this months budget. The dashboard also shows which areas of my budget I’m getting close to exceeding which is very helpful.
The accounts tab has mostly replaced my use of Personal Capital and Copilot supports certain accounts that Personal Capital didn’t.
All in all, one of my favorite apps for tracking expenses and definitely one I’m willing to pay for.
@___tcp 100%. I've tried them all and this legitimately works better than the others. The instant displaying of pending transactions and "review" stages, show a clear understanding of the problem and are so much more reliable than any other service.
@alexgiess Hi Alexandre, my understanding is that Apple doesn't let you connect it to third party apps at the moment. We do have the option to track it manually though, and it comes with an easter egg 🥚
@alexgiess it does not, but neither does any other app. Apple just doesn’t allow it. I manually added the card and manually track transactions made on that card in the app which works fine.
@coconidodev It's kind of similar to what Monzo bank offers for free in the UK though – automatic categorisation & tracking of transactions, and you can easily mark subscriptions as recurring and Monzo will start subtracting that from your 'left to spend' amount.
Love this app so far. I will be converting when the trial ends. Used YNAB since 2013 and wasn't sticking to it lately as it's too manual.
It took less time to set up sync on 20 accounts and categorize 12 months in Copilot than to fix sync issues and do 1 month in YNAB. I could also do it all from my phone instead of using a web app. That's a plus to me.
Looking forward to native Mac and iPad apps, and tagging/flagging (helpful for suspicious transactions/sharing with spouse).
