CoScreen 5.0 for macOS and Windows lets you share and collaborate on your screen like never before. High-def screen sharing, multi-user editing of any app as if it were a Figma file, 60 FPS+ mouse pointers, crisp audio and video chat.
Max, Jason, and I are excited to be back on Product Hunt, where it all began in 2019! CoScreen has gone full circle and we’re now proud team members at Datadog and we've released our biggest update so far.
CoScreen was always meant to be different. Enabling collaboration as a natural extension of you and your team, built into your OS - instant, fast, seamless, democratic. A truly different way to pair program, debug, teach each other, jam on great ideas.
All that made a lot of sense conceptually when CoScreen went viral on Product Hunt and HN but it was also hard to get right. We feel we’re closer than ever with the all-new CoScreen V5.
⏫ Many of you liked a few things about CoScreen, so we made them even better
- Instant screen sharing
- Multi-directional collaboration
- Instant remote control: Type, click, and draw on any shared window
- High-def code without obfuscation
- Built-in audio and video chat
🛠️ What many users did NOT like about CoScreen, so we fixed it with V5:
- Lower CPU and latency, faster mouse pointers
- No more accidental input
- Share windows from multiple displays & macOS Spaces
- Join even faster from your browser
And much more...
This has some pretty incredible value. As a person who works with collaborators, I can’t stress enough how useful something like this would be in my day-to-day life.
WOW, is all I can say. I haven’t tested it, but the idea and features alone makes me want to drop AnyDesk/teamviewer off a cliff.
Pretty straight forward, a very powerful tool for colaboration. Being the fact that i didn't had the chance to work with it, i have one question. Does it support mac and windows users to collaborate at the same time? (in my mind it would make sense for them to be able to)
Exactly @chiritescu_stefan. CoScreen is available for macOS 10.14 (2018 and later) and Windows 10 and later and users can collaborate across them so the users don't have to use the same OS. Give it a try!
