Hello lovely people! 👋 I am excited to share a project I am currently working on which is aimed at helping early startups get up and running with product and design services. It can be tricky in those early days to get all the skills you need to move quickly and reach product market fit, so Critbee aims to provide a reasonably priced, flexible service so founders have one less thing to worry about. 👷‍♀️ How does it work? It's basically a design team subscription - You get unlimited design requests and unlimited revisions from designers who have actually worked at early stage stage companies. We work on one request at a time till you are happy then we move to the next. This is all managed through a project board so everyone kenos what's happening. You can request anything from a simple flow, logo, website screen, app screen, prototype, presentation template - just ask and we should be able to do it. We know things change so you are in control to pause the subscription at any point and start again when you have more tasks. 🤔 Why us? I have been lucky enough to be an early hire at many great companies and it is the work I enjoyed the most. The challenge of limited time, (and money!) having to be creative to validate ideas, wear many hats and generally get involved in many different roles is unique and not something I have found at larger companies. As I genuinely find joy in this space I want to help startups with anything from a simple review of an MVP to helping build out prototypes or full design of a v1 beta. Having lived those early days of taking MVPs with literally zero users to millions through to series A funding rounds… and… being totally honest, some total soul crushing failures, I want to take alI I have learned to help more startups get moving.
