Oh this is awesome!

Hi PH! (Thanks for the hunt @kwdinc) I'm excited to share CSV Explorer, a tool I built for anyone to analyze big datasets. It started when some friends reached out about a spreadsheet they had received with 200 million rows! CSV Explorer users are consultants, realtors, journalists, and more! I'm here and happy to answer any questions!

I don’t really get the point: there are several free and high quality CSV tools out there already for browsing, filtering and plotting. Also, CSV’s with such large amounts of data are mostly analytical/statistical data or DB dumps: this data is meant to be processed using statistics software or custom programs, not browsed, making your key selling point mostly irrelevant in my opinion. I think it’s a nice idea to build a new, highly performant CSV tool, but your current product isn’t really bringing anything of real value to the table considering the tools that are already out there. Don’t take this as me being an ass: I think your overall idea is fine, but that you’re focusing on the wrong things here.

If I understand it right, you cut down time that I spend on loading Spreadsheet with millions of rows, right? If so, how you do it/what's the difference between it and using Google Sheets for example?

About 6 months ago I made quite the career change. I went from founding and operating a distilled spirits plant (whisky distillery), to the world of mining and building specific datasets for micro businesses all over the world. My experience with this stuff prior to about 6 months ago was essentially at ground zero. In these past 6 months, I have done free trials for 15+ different products that all claim to do somewhat similar things to what CSV EXPLORER does... but they are just so inferior that you shouldn't even compare them to each other. CSV EXPLORER actually makes all the other products in its realm laughable. Its ease of use is disgustingly amazing. Plus, the price is almost too fair. I think the owner should pop it up a bit but that is just me. There are literally 20 million reasons why CSV EXPLORER doesn't even compare to anything else. Last thing I'll quickly touch on is the fact that Jason (the creator of this wonderland) isn't just an obvious nerd... he is unbelievably helpful and always available on the live chat within the platform. I actually haven't ever been online when he wasn't... now I come to think of it... he could be just a really really cool, helpful, friendly alien. Great product. Great customer support. Trustworthy stuff.

This could be huge for us. We're constantly exploring our customers CSV data.
