Hi Everyone, My name is Kris and I’m excited to share with you something we've been working on for a couple months and wanted to access for years. I grew up with the internet and access to much of human knowledge at my fingertips and the power to quench my curiosity at any time. Despite this, I have spent way too long doing things on the internet that I don’t care about and that don’t fulfill me. I wanted to build a platform that allows me to be curious, to distract myself and to learn all at once and that is why I came together with Gustavs and Randall to build Current. I hope you all can enjoy it as much as I have and follow along as we add more features.

Thanks for checking out Current! When we started working together, Gustavs, Kris and myself agreed that staying informed can be an extremely difficult, time consuming, and frustrating endeavor. The 'easy' way to keep up with current events is to pick one, maybe two news sources you like and only read / watch / listen to their coverage. Unfortunately, any given publication will be biased -- they may pick and choose which stories to cover and how to portray them. The alternative would be to keep up with as many different news sources as possible. But how many of us have the time (let alone patience) for that? With Current, we hope to maximize your awareness of the world with an easy to digest platform. Every article Current generates compiles information from across the internet, sifting out the important information and attributing each fact to its corresponding source. We're eager for you to try it out and would love to hear your thoughts!
