It's always good to see such resources being produced but I feel there's too much focus on marketing the resource and a lot less focus on the actual content. Hope this is seen as positive feedback.

Pros:

The idea of creating a Playbook like this

Cons:

It's a poor read, very amateurish

Roman Akhmetzianov
Hey, @irhymeth. Thanks for your feedback! When you do the product and also write a book on this field you are always have to keep the balance between market your product and provide the value. Mistakes and great feedback like yours push to make better things further! Thank you!
Pavlo Pedenko

@chddaniel Hi! thanks for your support!
Roman Akhmetzianov
Hey everyone, Iโ€™m Roman, PM at Dashly.io. First of all, thanks to @chrismessina for supporting Dashly with every launch. We have spent a couple of years providing SaaS teams with a tool to improve their customerโ€™s journey. This book is a compilation of the best action plans that these teams use. So we collected their tactics and described it in details going from the lead capturing to the fighting with churn rate. We have already received positive feedback from Customer Success experts on SaaStr and Startup Grind Global. Looking forward to hearing yours! The book is available in PDF.

@chrismessina @roman_eaton Congrats! As a marketer, I seem to never get enough of SaaS playbooks, tips and hacks on the customer journey. Your playbook looks promising, structured and well searched. Hope I will find something different and more useful than the bunch of articles I saved somewhere about SaaS Marketing, will sign-up and wait for my copy :))
Roman Akhmetzianov
@chrismessina @rihab_zd thanks Rihab! Happy to hear that. We're working on the next part of this book, to share up-to-date marketing tips. BTW, if you have some ideas or struggles on product marketing our team will do the best to be useful for you ๐Ÿ˜‰
Roman Akhmetzianov
Hey, @vlad_shvets, thanks for support! Seems like phase.com could be implement some tips from the book, or, on the other hand, share your experience with us. You have the live chat solution on the website, do you use other engagement features?
Roman Akhmetzianov
Thanks @lubo, for your upvote, waiting for your feedback on the book after the first glimpse. BTW you have the best nickname!

Useful, free, beautiful!

Pros:

Helps to quickly understand the subject and to understand especially for beginners

Cons:

It would be cool to make this book an application and constantly update it

Roman Akhmetzianov
Hey, Alex, excuse me for the late reply. For sure, we're working on updating it!
Dima

It's nice, it's free, it's usefull. That's not to like.

Pros:

I love this illustration and overall design of the book. It's simple, helpful. Like a small cheatsheet for SaaS automation.

Cons:

Some automation ideas are pretty obvious. But maybe that's the idea behind this book.

Roman Akhmetzianov
Dima, sorry for the late reply and thanks for your idea! Exactly - that's the obvious and basic action plans that should optimise most of customer journeys. We got all the feedback and are already working on the next book
Alexander Aslanyan
Amazing! Really good resource for use in everyday practice.
Roman Akhmetzianov
@alexander_aslanyan thanks for your support!

Wow, such a cool book! It's greate you guys sharing your experience with others like that. Seems like a very versatile scenarios usage, guess it could be usefull not only for a startups but for a more developed companies too. Just a thought - I bet you have a lot of exp in ecommerce too, seeing as the whole email, popups etc. business is more than relevant for them. Have you thought about making a playbook for them too?
Roman Akhmetzianov
@toi4eg thanks, appreciate your feedback. Yeah, our product is for both SaaS and e-com. Now we're focusing on SaaS, but stay tuned! Something sweet and e-commerce is coming ๐Ÿ˜‰
Igor
Hi! Up until recently we were getting most incoming requests from chat on our website, but now customers tend to use other channels. Can you advise on best practices for handling those channels?
Roman Akhmetzianov
@igor_kondratov we're working now on the next part of this book. It will include more channels and also workflows how to build the communication along all the channels. BTW, our team is ready to help with your case. WithDashly you could connect many channels to have all the conversations in one place
Lu

Beside that it has simple structure of each chapter, so you'll not be lost in the book. And soooo many beatiful and cute illustrations! I definetely would like to get a print version.

Pros:

Simple guide, where you find clear steps to make your marketing strategy awesome! Just read it and the do it.

Cons:

I think it's not a full list of scenarios and you can always add something new to the book.

Roman Akhmetzianov
Thanks. You're right about the number of scenarios. We have to show the basic and the greatest. We have plenty of them to share, but there would be x10 larger book that is difficult to read, so we have to keep marketers reading not scrolling the book
Rihab Zaidi

I appreciate the message examples included in each step. It's surely a useful playbook for marketers who are constantly looking for the best SaaS marketing guides to add value to users.

Pros:

Clean design and great visuals Well structured content Covered the different scenarios marketers go through when converting leads

Cons:

none

Alena Korpula
Thanks @rihab_zd ! We really appreciate your feedback. Please let us know if you need some help implementing all the action plans:)

Use it at your products.

Pros:

I'm know this team many years, they have strong experience at user understanding, and their knowledge is useful for me.

Cons:

I'm recommend improve language (name of metrics and etc).

Roman Akhmetzianov
Really appreciate your experience @daniil_khanin. Thanks for your feedback, definitely will make improvements in the next version.
