Hello Hunters 👋 We’re super excited to introduce DealLab, a digital sales room for sellers to work directly with buyers and easily consolidate, share, and track information… our goal? To make buyer / seller communication as frictionless as possible so you can save time and make more money. Why we built DealLab - Problems we see today When working with customers do you find that the email threads, links, attachments, and overall communication tends to get messier and messier? Does it get more difficult to keep track of where each conversation is? We started to find this disorganization increasingly more time consuming and frustrating. On top of that, as more information is available now than ever, we’ve found that buyers are getting overwhelmed, often leading to buyer fatigue & choice paralysis. As a result, many buyers never end up making purchase decisions and sellers miss out on new opportunities. With the growing trend of buyers not wanting to hop on calls or speak directly with sellers, sellers face massive communication hurdles. Why try Deallab? 1. Get organized (for both you and buyer) 2. Save time (for both you and buyer) 3. Gain insight into the strength of your deal 4. Better serve your customers 5. Shorten sales cycles 6. Improve win rates Who is DealLab for? - Sales teams & reps - Founders - Small businesses - Freelancers - Anyone who needs to educate their customers How to use Deallab: 1. 📝Setup Dealroom: Create a centralized space with personalized content for your customers, including tailored value propositions, marketing collateral, and embedded videos, etc. 2. 🔗Invite Customers: As you wrap up a discovery call, present your Dealroom and invite customers with single-link access. Empower them to then easily share the Dealroom with their teammates to keep their entire team looped in and in sync. 3. 🗓️Communicate and Collaborate: Proactively guide your customers on next steps through the Mutual Action Plan tool and interact with them through Comments. 4. 📈Track Engagement: Know what your customers care about the most through the Activity Dashboard, so you can provide them with the most relevant information and enable them to make the best decision. 5. 🤸🏼Update, Monitor, and Guide: Continue to add and refine content as you get to understand your customers more. Monitor progress to ensure that you are on the same page and moving towards the finish line together. 💸Special offer for hunters: 50% OFF 1 year Give us a try for FREE at app.deallab.io. @nicholas_shao Congratulations on the launch of DealLab! It would definitely revolutionize buyer/seller communication, saving time and boost revenue. Excited to see how it transforms the sales landscape!

Congrats on the launch 🚀 In the video you mentioned Notion, so am curious to hear why all this can't be done in Notion or a Google Doc? ( other than the UI ) My concern being that while you say it is a tool for centralizing information from different sources its in effect adding yet another tool that creates a new container for information that needs to be maintained and tracked by a team. Also how does this compare to other similar tools in the category? If a customer had to pick from between all of them why would they pick this one in particular? Great job on getting to #3 currently!
Nicholas Shao
@sevenshurygin Thanks for thoughtful question! Indeed you can use Notion or Google Doc for centralizing information however the big difference comes in specifically the customer experience. To help facilitate a smooth sales cycle, customer purchasing experience is huge. We have many users originally do things in Google Docs but have found that over time (for a 3+ month sales cycle, with many people involved) things tend to get more and more messy. Do you have a single doc that keeps getting longer? Do you have a drive with information all over the place? How easy is it for customers to share it across their org and get buy in from others (will they want to read long docs)? The big difference is that DealLab is more purpose-built for sales and to offer a more seamless experience for customers in a structured way that is "story-telling". Customers not only know "who" they are talking to but "why" they are talking and "what" they need to do next to move forward. This is accomplished with the card structure and various tabs (including mutual action plan) In addition to that, sellers can also track customer session times and break down engagement activities to understand buyer interest. We've found that in a B2B cycle, each stakeholder has different priorities and the higher up they are, the more difficult it is to get their buy in. DealLab makes it so that instead of having your champion share a big Notion / Google doc with information dump, they can share a Dealroom instead where each stakeholder can pick and choose where to invest their attention to first hook them in before getting their buy-in. The overall theme is the seamlessness and speed at which information can be transferred for different roles. In terms of how we compare in the space, our aim and goal is "simplicity". While most other tools continue to add a number of bells and whistles, our team is actually aiming to simplify the platform to its core value prop of "consolidate, share, track".
Vicky Yuan
@sevenshurygin Yup, simplicity is key! We want to minimize cognitive overload for our users customers so they can get closer to making the right decision!
I used to work closely with B2B salespeople. I gotta say, wow, you have done a great job to digitizing sales processes. ❤️ Congratulations on your hard work 🎉. The product looks fantastic!
Nicholas Shao
@jgani Thank you for the kind words Jonni! I spent a few years in B2B tech sales so the concept really came from problems that I personally faced during those times. Really looking to make sales easier for both sellers and buyers in this new age. Your support means a lot! (:
Vicky Yuan
@jgani Thanks Jonni!! Glad to have connected!
@nicholas_shao Your challenge will be acquiring the first group of paying customers and make them love DealLab. Once you achieve that, your growth will hockey stick. Why? Companies will pay for sales tooling, if they can see the ROI (I'm sure you know this). Also the "gold rush" effect. Once a gold mine (DealLab) gets discovered, everyone will flock to it.
Nicholas Shao
@jgani Appreciate it Jonni! We currently have some paying customers but are definitely looking to onboard more to get to that hockey stick growth! It's been a grind but definitely always worth it when we get support from people like yourself (:
Alex Dulub
Hello Nicholas, The concept of a digital sales room like DealLab is fascinating! Streamlining communication between buyers and sellers is definitely a need in today's market, and it seems like DealLab could be a game-changer for many. The Mutual Action Plan tool sounds particularly useful for collaboration. Can you share a success story or a specific instance where DealLab made a significant difference for a user? Excited to see how DealLab evolves and helps users save time and increase their sales. Congratulations on the launch!
Nicholas Shao
@alex_dulub absolutely! we have reps in a wide range of companies currently using us. At Agrify, the head of BD was originally using email and docs to communicate with customers. It became increasingly difficult to organize their product/service offerings and the information needed to recap what was sold and what other offers could be upsold. After implementing DealLab, they were able to cut down their sales cycle lengths by 23% by being able to loop everyone in, get them on the same page, and drive next steps / execution faster. DealLab allows both their sales team and customers to save hours per week while making it easier to stay on top of things.
Rohan Chaubey
I had an opportunity to meet Nicholas last month and they introduced DealLabs to me. I recently started using DealLab. It helps me communicate with our prospects and clients effectively by centralizing all communications and sales collaterals. Give it a try! Happy to hunt them today! :)
Alvaro Villalba Perez
This tool is awesome. One of our main value propositions is that "services are included" with the product price. And some of that service is having a collaborative space for communications. We currently use Notion, but this could give us the insights and monitoring we need. Congrats to the team! PS: the UI is great
Nicholas Shao
@alvarovillalb_ Thanks Alvaro! Including "service" in your value proposition is a great addition. People typically buy for experiences and outcomes to their problems rather than specifically the technology being offered. Adding services makes it a true partnership rather than a transactional sale. The beauty with DealLab is that it can be used from presale, all the way through to post sale too to help manage communication and make everything more transparent, especially with the tracking. Definitely would suggest trying it out with a customer or two and see how the experience differs from Notion! Here's the link to sign up for free: app.deallab.io
Vicky Yuan
@alvarovillalb_ Tracking and activity insights are really invaluable because it allows you to measure the results of your sales strategy. Without quantifiable metrics, you can't say what works and what doesn't. Coming from a scientific background, good experimentation is KEY to answering questions, and you can't experiment without being able to measure results! 📐🤓
Anthony Latona
This is an awesome take on proposal presenting. Keeping everything organized and customizable looks excellent. It would be great to see a couple demos or use cases of what the client or prospect would see. In other words, what is the user experience on that end? Maybe different case studies for different types of deals. You could have one for an agency selling a marketing package or app build, an enterprise SaaS offering or even a company being sold. Anyway, congrats on the launch! Looks great!
Nicholas Shao
@anthony_latona Thanks Anthony! Apologies I forgot to include it in the demo video.. However, the customer view is almost exactly like the demo however without the editing permissions in the overview tab, internal tasks hidden, and no "activity" tab showing. There's a "preview" top right that users can click to see what customers would see. More case studies and examples are definitely something we are trying to work on (: Would you be open to trying the platform out and giving us more of your thoughts?
Anthony Latona
@nicholas_shao If I was still sending proposals all the time, I surely would! If I'm ever in that line of work again, I'll definitely try it out.
Nuno Reis
Consolidating sales info is tricky as hell, especially if the team grows at the start of a startups journey it very quickly gets disorganized! Good job creating this!
Nicholas Shao
@nuno_ms_reis Exactly! The more a startup grows and depending on the product or service offered, more and more people are involved throughout a sale. This makes communication that much more important and increasingly difficult. The aim is to cut down the friction and time it takes for information transfer so that everyone involved can focus on faster enablement and execution while understanding the "why" behind doing everything.
Simona O'Neill
I love a good buyer enablement/communication platform. Congrats on the launch! 🥳 I currently use Flowla. What sets DealLab apart? Thank you
Garen Orchyan
Looks super. Big congratulations on the launch Best of luck to you today ♥️🦄
Vicky Yuan
@orchyan Thanks Garen :)
Nicholas Shao
@orchyan Thanks Garen!
Henry Burkert
Sounds like a good product. Good luck! 🚀 I have two more questions. Can I link Hubspot with DealLab? Can I use my own branding for the Deal Room (custom domain, logo, colors...)?
Vicky Yuan
@henry_burkert Yes and yes! We have Hubspot integration, and you can customize logos and banners for each dealroom/customer. Thanks for support!
Nicholas Shao
@vyuan97 @henry_burkert Hey Henry, we can link directly to Hubspot and push activity and customer engagement directly into your hubspot "deal", however this feature is only on our enterprise tier. Happy to figure something out with you to try it out though! and to clarify, unfortunately we do not have custom domains yet 😅 but yes to logos and banners.
Geri Máté
Seems like a very useful tool, congratulations for creating this!

@geri_mate Thanks Geri, we hope it add value to your workflow!

I've helped run Sales Enablement for two startups that led to an IPO. Especially in that high growth and scaling phase, there's a huge need to standardize the language and operational rhythm of sales teams. That's where a tool like DealLab comes in to help be the Magna Carta for sales organizations and a collaboration ground to really bring customers into the sales process. I love this new release and am excited to see what features are rolled out soon.
Nicholas Shao
@kvngao Appreciate you Kevin! Super grateful to have you as a customer and user and all the constructive feedback and suggestions you've provided us to make a better tool and overall user experience!
Wesley Chen
@kvngao props to your success Kevin! Sales processes standardization is exactly what we hoped to help Sales leaders like you achieve. When organizations run their sales motions through DealLab, Sales leaders have ample data and intel to know what's working and what's not. Just like how Gong helps with live conversations, DealLab helps when reps are not in front of the customer. Sales leaders can train their B players to become A players using the templates of successful reps and won deals. Ultimately, you can build a gallery of case studies right in DealLab that acts as business case collateral and sales enablement material at the same time!
Rich Watson
Congrats on the launch @nicholas_shao
Nicholas Shao
@richw Thanks Rich!
Alexandru Purdoiu

William Honda
As a sales leader, and lifelong sales person, I’ve used plenty of different tools to fuel my deals and bring prospects across the line but none have been nearly as effective or all encompassing as Deallab. It’s so much easier to keep everyone aligned/on track, with deadlines and deliverables that are clear as day and having all of my resources be in the same place allows me to avoid doom scrolling through my email and past demo recordings to try and catch back up on things that might’ve gotten lost while trying to manage a 7 figure pipeline. This category of sales enablement product is the future of SaaS sales and amongst the gambit of different tools within this category I’ve used, none have been as easy or effective as Deallab.
Nicholas Shao
@william_honda Appreciate you being a longterm customer and user of DealLab Will! Excited for the growth of both our organizations and the continued partnership!
